Tongue cleaner for a toothbrush

The invention relates to a device for dental and/or oral care, especially a tooth brush, comprising a preferably rod-shaped tool support to which a cleaning tool, especially a bristle field, can be fastened. The tool support is configured as a composite body that comprises an enveloping body from a first material, preferably plastic material, and a functional body from a second material, preferably metal, which is embedded in the enveloping body. The dental and/or oral care device is characterized in that the functional body is configured in at least some sections thereof as a trelliswork girder frame that has longitudinal girders substantially extending in the longitudinal direction of the tool support and a plurality of cross-girders. The enveloping body is especially transparent so that the functional body is visible through the enveloping body.

A toothbrush having a head with a first end and a second end with peripheral edge regions extending between the first end and the second end is described. The head includes a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The first surface includes raised portions and depressed portions, wherein the depressed portions are adjacent the peripheral edge regions. A first plurality of cleaning elements protrude from the first surface, and a second plurality of cleaning elements protrude from the first surface. Each of the first plurality of cleaning elements protrudes from a depressed portion and has a cross section. The shaving foil includes a perforate region comprised of a plurality of hair-receiving apertures, wherein said apertures form a quasi-periodic pattern executed in accordance with a Penrose parquet.

A shaving system for a dry shaver has at least one long-hair cutter arranged between shaving units for short-hair cutting. The shaving units for short-hair cutting each include an upper blade and a lower blade, which can be moved relative to one another by a drive. The long-hair cutter is formed from at least two cutting elements that can be moved relative to one another and are arranged one beside the other. The cutting elements of the long-hair cutter are each of comb-like design, and their rows of cutting teeth, which are formed by tines, are oriented essentially perpendicularly to the skin which is to be shaved.
