The present disclosure relates to a process for producing profiles from metal, a metallic strip material being fed to a shaping-hardening device, in which the strip material is shaped into a profile and is hardened at least in certain regions, portions of the profile that are emerging continuously from the shaping-hardening device being coated with a protective layer. The disclosure also relates to an apparatus for producing profiles from metal, with a shaping-hardening device for shaping a metallic strip material that can be fed to the shaping-hardening device into a profile and for hardening the profile at least in certain regions, and with a coating device, by which portions of the profile that are emerging continuously from the shaping-hardening device can be coated with a protective layer.

Process and apparatus for producing profiles from metal

A method and a device for inductive radiofrequency welding of metal products, include heating by inducing radiofrequency currents with use of at least one induction conductor. The metal products and a welding zone are moved relative to one another, so that edge regions of the metal products to be welded are brought in contact in the welding zone and are welded together to form a weld seam. Metal products with different material thicknesses and/or material properties can be welded together because an induction conductor which heats the edge regions of the metal products is used which includes at least two mutually separable induction conductor components that are assigned to the respective metal product and are adapted thereto, and the edge regions to be welded are heated in a manner that is adjusted separately for the respective metal product.

The invention relates to a method and a device for guiding bands to be joined to one another along their longitudinal edges, comprising guide elements which form tracks for guiding the bands that are configured such that the bands approach one another in the transport direction and the longitudinal edges thereof rest on one another at a non-overlapping contact point. A laser beam welding head for the welding of metal parts and method of use include at least one beam path for a welding beam and means for the optical acquisition of the position of the welding seam at a first measuring position, wherein the means for the optical acquisition of the position of the welding seam allow arrangement of the first measuring position in the welding direction running ahead of the welding position of the welding beam, and, at least as a function of a lateral deviation of the welding seam from a reference position, generate a correction signal for the correction of the welding position of the welding beam, as well as a corresponding use of the laser beam welding head.
