A linear actuator () comprising a first part () and a second part () is disclosed. The first part () is arranged to rotate along with a rotating part () of a motor (), and the second part () is arranged to drive an actuated part (). A coupling () interconnects the first part () and the second part () to allow the second part () to rotate along with the first part () at the same angular velocity as the first part (). The coupling () defines a fit tolerance between the first part () and the second part () allowing the first part () to rotate a predefined distance before engaging the second part () and rotating the second part () along with the first part (). The fit tolerance ensures that the first part () reaches a certain angular velocity and thereby that the resulting torque transfer from the first part () to the second part () is sufficient, e.g. to release the actuated part () from a pre-tensioned state.

Linear actuator with a coupling

A valve () comprising a first housing part () and a second housing part (), the first housing part () and the second housing part () being made from a sheet metal material, and being joined by means of welding, preferably laser welding, to form a closed housing of the valve (). An actuator () is arranged inside the housing for driving movements of a first valve member () and/or a second valve member (), said actuator () being arranged directly in a flow of fluid flowing in the fluid flow path during operation of the valve (). The valve () is hermetically sealed due to the welding of the housing parts ().

Valve with a welded valve housing

An expansion valve () for a vapor compression system, the valve () comprising a first valve part () having an outlet orifice () and a piston () movable inside the outlet orifice () in response to a differential pressure across the expansion valve (), controlling a fluid flow through the valve (). The piston () comprises a stop element () at an outlet end () of the piston () and mechanical forcing means () to force the piston () towards a position in which the stop element () is brought into abutment with a valve seat () of the first valve part (). A differential pressure below a predefined threshold value causes the stop element () of the piston () to abut the valve seat () of the first valve part (), preventing fluid flow through the first valve part (), via the forward fluid passage.

Expansion valve comprising a stop element

An expansion valve () comprising an inlet opening () and a distributor () being arranged to distribute fluid medium received from the inlet opening to at least two parallel flow paths (). At least two outlet openings () are adapted to deliver fluid in an at least partially gaseous state, and each outlet opening is fluidly connected to one of the parallel flow paths. A first valve part () and a second valve part () are arranged movably relative to each other in such a manner that the mutual position of the first valve part and the second valve part determines the opening degree of the expansion valve. Since the distributor () forms part of the expansion valve, it distributes the fluid medium to the parallel flow paths prior to or during expansion of the fluid medium, i.e. while the fluid medium is in a substantially liquid state. This makes it easier to control the distribution of fluid medium to the parallel flow paths in a uniform manner.

Expansion valve with a distributor

An expansion valve having an inlet opening, at least one outlet opening and first and second valve parts. The inlet opening is adapted to receive fluid medium in a liquid state. The outlet opening(s) is/are adapted to deliver fluid medium in an at least partly gaseous state to a flow path. The valve parts are arranged movable relative to each other such that the mutual position of the valve parts determines a fluid flow between the inlet opening and the outlet opening(s). During normal operation, a resulting force acts upon the first valve part and/or the second valve part to press the first and second valve parts towards each other. The expansion valve having ability for reducing the resulting force acting upon the valve part(s). Thereby the valve parts can easier be moved relative to each other, and the force required in order to operate the valve is thereby reduced.
