A device for sealing a double clutch transmission of a motor vehicle, with a transmission housing, in which are arranged a clutch chamber with clutch oil and a double clutch, a transmission chamber with transmission oil and a double clutch transmission wheel set and two co-axial drive shafts disposed, one inside the other. One drive shaft is an interior central shaft which extends inside the transmission chamber from the end of the second hollow drive shaft. The two drive shafts each have a sealing element to seal the clutch chamber from the transmission chamber. A mounting component is situated inside and fixed to the transmission housing to support two adjacent sealing elements. A first sealing element forms a seal radially on the hollow drive shaft and a second sealing element forms a seal radially on the central drive shaft to provide a reliable seal and offer a simple ventilation and leakage detection.

Sealing device for a dual clutch transmission of a motor vehicle

An arrangement of bearings for transmission shafts of a twin-clutch transmission having a first input shaft connected with a first clutch, a hollow second input shaft co-axially supported on the first input shaft and connected with a second clutch and a main shaft, which is parallel to and connected with the input shafts a drive constant via gear stages comprising fixed and loose gear wheels and a shift clutch. The drive constant is connected with an output shaft, which is parallel to the main shaft. The transmission shafts are supported by bearings, which are arranged in bearing planes, one of which is formed by an inner wall of the transmission housing and is axially adjacent the drive constant. This bearing plane includes one bearing supporting the main shaft, one bearing supporting the second input shaft and one bearing supporting the first input shaft within the second input shaft.

Bearing arrangement of the transmission shafts of a twin-clutch transmission

A double clutch transmission with a double clutch, the input side of which can be driven and the output sides each communicate with one of two transmission input shafts that are arranged coaxially relative to one another, with an intermediate shaft and with fixed or idler gears that are mounted or rotatably supported on the shafts, and with shifting units that are allocated to the idler gears, with which the idler gears can be non-rotatably connected to the properly allocated shaft for the purpose of realizing gear ratio. To allow a more cost-effective production of this type of transmission, the fixed gears for the reverse gear and first gear are arranged axially directly in front each other on the same transmission input shaft, or that the fixed gears for the reverse gear and for the first gear are designed as a single common fixed gear.

Double clutch transmission

A countershaft-type transmission device has an input central shaft and an input hollow shaft and two powershift elements. One first half of the powershift elements is in connection with one drive unit and a second half of the powershift elements is connected with the input central shaft or the input hollow shaft. The input central shaft, the input hollow shaft and countershafts are supported in one housing and connected with gear wheels, which are engaged with each other by pairs and can be connected and disconnected to produce a transmission total ratio in the power flow. The input central shaft is supported in the housing via a first bearing device and the drive unit is supported via a second bearing device on a shaft connected with a drive unit, the input hollow shaft being supported on the input central shaft via a third bearing device and a fourth bearing device.

Transmission device of layshaft type

A multi-speed transmission of countershaft design having a main countershaft and a hollow countershaft arranged concentrically and having likewise two load-shift elements. A first half of the shift elements is connected with a drive unit and a second half of the shift elements is connected to a gearbox input shaft. The gearbox input shafts and countershafts are mounted in a housing and connected to gear wheels, which intermesh in pairs as gear wheel pairs and can be connected or disconnected in order to reduce the overall gear ratio in the power flow. The main countershaft is mounted directly on the housing in the area of its first end and in the hollow countershaft in the area of its second end. The hollow countershaft is mounted in the housing in the area of its end that faces toward the end of the main countershaft that is mounted in the hollow countershaft.

Multistep transmission of a layshaft type

The invention relates to a gear shifting device () comprising a single-rod gear shifting system in a housing of a motor vehicle manual gearbox. Said device comprises a central gearshift shaft () and fork-type gear shifting elements in the form of gear shifting swinging forks or gear shifting forks () which are optionally and individually engaged with the gearshift shaft () by rotating the same (), and which carry out a gear shift of the selected gear shifting element by means of displacement of the gearshift shaft () along a rotational axis () of said gearshift shaft (). Said gear shifting device () comprises a first element () which is connected to the gearshift shaft () and which co-operates with a second element () fixed in the housing, in order to define the rotation of the gearshift shaft (). The second element () fixed in the housing comprises a number of slits () of a defined width, corresponding to the number of gear shifting passages, said slits co-operating with two pins () which are arranged on the gearshift shaft () and which form the first element. Each one of said pins () engages in the slit () corresponding to the respective gear shifting passage during the rotation of the gearshift shaft (), when one of the gear steps is positioned in the selected gear shifting passage.

Single-rod gear shifting system for a manual gearbox for a motor vehicle

The single-rod shifting device for a motor vehicle manual transmission, in particular for a six-speed transmission, has a central shifting shaft, fork-shaped shifting elements that engage into sliding bushings, and a locking device. The locking device is equipped with a lever ( ) whose rotation point lies on the rotation axis of the axially displaceably mounted central shifting shaft ( ) and which is joined to it via a radial entrainment arrangement. Also provided is a blocking part ( ) that is arranged immovably in the housing in the shifting direction, as well as a coupling drive that converts the rotation of the lever into a linear motion of the blocking elements ( &prime; . . . ) on the shifting elements and on the blocking part ( ) ensure that upon superposition of the blocking elements in the shifting direction, a shifting of the shifting elements is prevented.
