A valve assembly with a valve body, which has a fluid passage designed as a fluid inlet and at least one fluid passage designed as a fluid outlet, is disclosed. A fluid chamber connecting the fluid inlet to the at least one fluid outlet is formed in the valve body. A movably mounted closing body is positioned in the fluid chamber. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball. The at least one guide ball is arranged between the closing body and a lateral delimitation of the fluid chamber. A fluid passage is formed in the radial direction of the valve body.

Valve assembly

A piston pump is configured to convey pressure medium in a pressure medium circuit, in particular in a braking circuit of a motor vehicle braking system that may be electronically controlled to counteract slip. The pump piston delimits an operating chamber and is received in a displaceable manner in a pump cylinder and may be driven to produce a stroke movement that goes back and forth between two reversing positions. The operating chamber may be connected in a controllable manner to a pump inlet or outlet. A pressure medium connection is provided from the pump outlet to the operating chamber, said pressure medium connection is controllable in dependence upon a relative position of the pump piston with respect to the first reversing position. Pressure pulsations of the piston pump are prevented and the operating noise is reduced.

A solenoid valve for controlling the braking pressure of a wheel brake of a slip-controllable hydraulic brake system of a motor vehicle includes an armature, a valve insert, a valve seat, a valve element, and a spring device. The valve element is arranged in the valve insert in a longitudinally displaceable manner and acts together with the valve seat. The spring applies a force acting in the direction of opening with respect to the valve seat to the valve element in the installed position. The valve element can be actuated by an electromagnetic actuator in the closing direction with respect to the valve seat. The valve element is arranged between an anchor and the valve seat and is operatively connected to the anchor. A front face of the valve element facing the anchor has at least one projection and the projection defines a point of contact with the anchor.

A piston pump includes a perforated disk as a throttle, in a central hole of which an outlet valve is arranged and its inner edge is fixed externally on a cylinder sleeve base of the piston pump and an outer edge of which lies with prestress on an annular support. Brake fluid displaced out of the piston pump lifts the perforated disk-shaped throttle off from the annular support, with which a dynamic throttle is formed. A throttle channel which negotiates the annular support in the perforated disk-shaped throttle also enables a throughflow in the case of a throttle lying on the annular support.

A valve device includes a valve body that forms a throttle cross section and a valve element that sets the throttle cross section depending on the pressure. To avoid pulsation-induced noises, the valve element is configured with a flow-deflecting member that causes action upon the valve element with a transverse force. The flow-deflecting member prevents noise-causing vibrations of the valve element and permits a lower throttling effect of the valve device, in particular when volumetric flows are increased. A damping device, in particular for damping pressure pulsations in a brake circuit of a slip-controllable vehicle brake system, includes the valve device.

A reciprocating pump, in particular a hydraulic pump of a slip-controlled vehicle braking system, includes a step piston, a differential pressure valve, and a pump outlet. The step piston includes a piston step that delimits a stepped space which is in communication with the pump outlet via the differential pressure valve. The piston step is configured such that the step space undergoes suction and displacement in a direction opposite to a displacement space, and in smaller quantities than suction and displacement in the displacement space, such that brake fluid volume flow in the pump outlet is evened out, and such that pressure pulsations are inhibited.

A damping device, for example for damping pressure pulses in a brake circuit of a slip-controllable hydraulic vehicle brake system, includes a damper chamber with a pressure medium volumetric capacity, which can be varied in a pressure-dependent manner, and a flow resistor connected downstream thereof. Disadvantageously, the pressure medium volumetric capacity of the damping device is not available for the brake pressure build-up when the brake pressure is generated by the driver, and the pedal travel on a brake master cylinder of a vehicle brake system is therefore lengthened. A mechanism limits the pressure medium volumetric capacity of the damping device in the case of a passive braking operation. In the case of partially active or fully active braking operations, in contrast, the mechanism has no effect and the full scope of the pressure medium volumetric capacity of the damping device is available for damping pressure pulses.

Damping device

In one embodiment, a solenoid valve for a vehicle braking system includes a magnet assembly having a winding support, a coil winding, a housing, and a cover disc. The solenoid value further includes a valve cartridge having a capsule, a valve insert, a valve seat, and an armature. The valve insert can be connected to the capsule, the armature can be guided within the capsule in an axially movable manner and has a closing element. The closing element and the valve seat can form a valve that can control a fluid flow through the valve cartridge. The coil winding can be wound on the winding support to form an electrical coil, which can be controlled using control signals applied to electrical connectors. The electric coil generates a magnetic force that can move the armature against a force of a return spring.

A magnet valve configured to control a fluid includes an armature with a base region, a casing region, and a head region. The magnet valve also includes a valve element that is connected to the armature and an armature housing component. A flow path is formed between the armature and the armature housing component. The flow path runs from a lower armature chamber to an upper armature chamber and back to the lower armature chamber. The head region of the armature has a flattened section, and the upper armature chamber is defined between the armature housing component and the flattened section. At least one groove is formed on the casing region of the armature starting from the base region. The at least one groove ends in the casing region before the flattened section of the head region.

Magnet valve for controlling a fluid

A valve for controlling a fluid includes a closing body and a valve seat. The closing body opens and closes a passage at the valve seat along a sealing line. The valve seat and the closing body have a rotationally symmetrical region where the sealing line between the valve seat and closing body is formed. The valve seat and/or the closing body also has a nonrotationally symmetrical region, which adjoins the rotationally symmetrical region in a throughflow direction of the valve.

A solenoid valve for controlling a fluid includes an armature having a base region, a lateral region and a head region. The solenoid valve includes a valve member connected to the armature. The solenoid valve further includes an armature casing component in which the armature is positioned. A flow path is formed between the armature and the armature casing component, the flow path extending from a lower armature space to an upper armature space and back to the lower armature space. A junction region is arranged between the head region and the lateral region. The junction region has at least one groove formed therein to facilitate an overflow between the lateral region and the head region.
