Adhesive tape for the on-the-fly roll changeover of flat web material wound up into rolls, comprising a carrier layer having a first surface and a second surface, a first layer of adhesive on the side of the first surface over at least part of the area, and a second layer of adhesive on one or more areas of the second surface, wherein the adhesive tape has regions suitable for areal splitting, at least those areal regions of the second surface on which the second layer of adhesive is provided being surface coated, the forces of adhesion of the lower layer of adhesive to the surface coating being greater than the forces of adhesion of the surface coating to the carrier layer, and/or the forces of adhesion of the lower layer of adhesive to the surface coating being greater than the forces of cohesion within the surface coating.

Adhesive tape for flying splice

A splicing tape and a method of using such tape to equip a wound roll for flying splice. The tape includes a first and second carrier and two strips of laminating composition disposed between them, each strip joining the first carrier to the second carrier. The carriers have a first and a second layer of pressure-sensitive, laminating composition and a first and a second layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive. The strips of laminating composition are disposed such that they are not in direct contact with one another. They form a predetermined breakage point. The splicing tape is adhered to the roll such that part of the first layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive forms a first bonding area, the end region of the uppermost ply of the wound roll, and the second layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive forms a second bonding area to the roll, which is located partly below the first bonding area.

Adhesive tape for the flying splice of flat web material wound up into rolls, said tape having an adhesive face and a nonadhesive reverse and also two longitudinal edges (L, L), and having a main carrier coated unilaterally on the face with a self-adhesive composition, only part of the nonadhesive reverse being provided with at least one self-adhesive system, wherein the main carrier is composed, at least in the region of the self-adhesive system, of splittable material.
