A measuring device for measuring a mass flow rate of a material flow having a rotatably mounted, bladed measurement wheel for deflecting the material flow, a drive shaft for driving the measurement wheel, an output shaft rigidly connected to the measurement wheel, a bearing sleeve, surrounding at least part of the output shaft, for the rotatable mounting of the output shaft, a force-measuring apparatus, and a gearbox which has a first gearbox element and a second gearbox element, and an intermediate element for transmitting a torque from the first gearbox element to the second gearbox element. The measuring device has a rocker which is rigidly connected to the bearing sleeve and on which the intermediate element of the gearbox is mounted. The force-measuring apparatus is connected to the rocker, so that a force transmitted to the rocker can be measured by the force-measuring apparatus.

An apparatus having a shaft, a bearing sleeve for rotatably supporting the shaft, a housing, in which at least one part of the bearing sleeve is arranged, and a sealing element, which seals a gap between a wall of the housing and the bearing sleeve. The sealing element divides the gap gas-tight into a first partial space adjacent to the front side of the sealing element and a second partial space adjacent to the back side of the sealing element, the sealing element having a flexible part, which is in contact with the wall of the housing and/or the bearing sleeve, and the housing having a first barrier gas inlet for introducing barrier gas into the first partial space as well as a second barrier gas inlet for introducing barrier gas into the second partial space.

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for measuring a mass flow of flowable bulk materials according to the Coriolis principle of measurement. The apparatus comprises a vane wheel by which a mass flow that is supplied in axial direction can be radially redirected and by which it is possible to detect the drive torque that that necessary to achieve the redirection. A drive shaft that is routed through the top side of the housing is configured as a hollow shaft through which the bulk material can be fed to the vane wheel in vertical direction toward the center of its axis of rotation.

Mass flow measurement and measuring apparatus having a central bulk material feed

A device for the measurement of the mass flow, in particular, of a bulk material flow, by the Coriolis measuring principle, comprising a motor with an impeller, driven at constant speed. The bulk material flow is dispensed onto the impeller, radially deflected and measured by means of a force measurement device for the drive torque of the impeller. A drive shaft supporting the impeller is rotatably mounted in a bearing sleeve and is coaxially enclosed by the same. The bearing sleeve is driven at a speed which corresponds to the speed of the drive shaft. The force measurement device is arranged directly between the drive shaft and the bearing sleeve.

Device for measurement of a material mass flow including a flow measuring device

The invention relates to a cross spring element, as it is preferably arranged in measuring apparatuses for the measurement of the mass flow of bulk materials according to the Coriolis principle. In that regard, two bearing elements () that are rotatable relative to one another are provided in the measuring branch and comprise at least four mutually orthogonally crossing leaf spring elements (), which connect both of the bearing elements () with one another. In that regard, the mutually crossing leaf spring elements () of one radial direction () are arranged at least pair-wise and cross themselves on the rotation axis (). The ends of each leaf spring pair () in that regard are secured on one side respectively on different bearing elements () so that they transmit radial compressive and tensile loads in each direction () simultaneously.

Cruciform spring element

The invention relates to a measuring device for determining the mass rate of flow of a mass flow, especially for measuring a flow of bulk material. An impeller wheel (), which is connected to the drive shaft () and which is driven at a constant rotational speed, is thus provided. The impeller wheel () deviates an axially impinged mass flow in a radial direction and provides it with a radial and tangential speed component. The drive shaft () includes a spur-toothed wheel () which engages with an intermediate spur-toothed wheel () and which is driven by a driving spur-toothed wheel (). The intermediate spur-toothed wheel () is mounted on a force transmitting arm () which is maintained in a radial position by a force measuring device. The drive shaft () is surrounded by a bearing bushing () which protrudes into the housing area () of the impeller wheel () and which is driven by a separate driving means () at a rotational speed which corresponds to the rotational speed of the drive shaft (). The bearing bushing () is rotatably mounted in a fixed part of the housing, such that basically no relative speed occurs between the drive shaft () and the bearing bushing ().
