A linear actuator, in particular telescopic legs for height-adjustable tables, and comprising an outer profile (), a spindle () mounted at an upper end of the outer profile, a transmission () connecting the spindle () with a reversible electric motor, a spindle nut () secured against rotation on the spindle (), an intermediate profile () mounted with its one end on the spindle nut (), a guide at a lower end of the outer profile () for the intermediate profile (), a cord element () secured at the lower end of the outer profile () and connected via a guide with an inner profile (), such that this together with the intermediate profile () is telescopically pushed out of and into the outer profile () by the rotation of the spindle. When the inner profile () is secured against rotation on the intermediate profile (), and the rotational securing of the spindle nut () is constituted by longitudinal guides in the outer profile (), then an actuator is achieved which per se is secured against rotation, i.e., when applied in telescopic legs, there is no need to have a rotational protection via the leg. In general, the structure is slender and may thereby be used in thin telescopic table legs.

Linear actuator

A linear actuator for a piece of furniture, namely a bed or chair comprising a housing () of plastic consisting of two parts () with a joining edge () in the longitudinal direction of the housing. In both ends of the housing there is a transverse through aperture () for receiving a pivot shaft in the piece of furniture, and with an openable cover () for mounting the actuator on the shafts. In connection with the apertures there is a drive comprising a reversible motor, which over a transmission drives a spindle, and where a spindle nut fixed against rotation and constructed as a sliding element is mounted on said spindle. The pivot shaft in the piece of furniture has an arm which rests loosely against the end of the spindle nut when the actuator is mounted on the piece of furniture so that the pivot shaft is rotated for raising of a section in the piece of furniture in one direction of movement of the spindle and for lowering the section under its weight in the other direction. The two parts of the housing () are join together by gluing or welding, which simplifies the mounting and shape of the housing compared to the traditional assembly with screws.

Linear actuator for a piece of furniture

An actuator for beds, slatted beds or chairs of the type accommodating, in a cabinet, two drive units based on a spindle and a spindle nut configured as an adjustment element, cooperating with an arm of a rotary shaft for a backrest section and a legrest section, respectively, in the bed, the mattress support or the chair. The two spindles are rotational interconnected and are driven by a common reversible electric motor. By having just one motor and one transmissions, as well as no switching mechanism between the two spindles, a simple and inexpensive structure is provided.

Linear actuator for beds, slatted beds or chairs

A drive device, preferably for lifting columns for height-adjustable tables, comprising an endless chain () running over first and second chain wheels () with a first chain run and a second chain run between the two chain wheels, wherein at least one chain run may be connected with a movable element in the structure in which the drive device is incorporated. The drive device comprises a stick-shaped element (), where the chain wheels () are mounted at their respective ends and the one chain wheel () is driven by an electric motor () via a transmission and where both the electric motor and the transmission are likewise mounted on the stick-shaped element so that the drive device essentially appears as a finished, mountable unit. The length of stroke is determined solely by the selection of the length of the drive device, just as the drive device may be constructed for a slender column profile. The drive device is moreover easy to mount.
