A wavelength tunable cavity includes a first reflecting unit adapted to at least partially reflect a beam of electromagnetic radiation towards a second reflecting unit, adapted to at least partially reflect a beam of electromagnetic radiation back towards said first reflecting unit, both reflecting units providing resonance modes of said electromagnetic radiation within said cavity, wherein an optical path of said beam within said cavity is defined in length by said first and second reflecting unit, a grating arranged within said optical path of said beam reflected by said first reflecting unit, said grating adapted for tuning the wavelength of said beam, wherein said at least one second reflecting unit is rotatable about an axis by at least 360 degrees along a circle path with respect to said grating, said circle path including at least a portion arranged to intersect with said beam, which is redirected by said grating.

Wavelength tunable cavity with rotational movement

A modular device with a housing includes at least one slot adapted for receiving an insert module and including a housing connector, each insert module includes a module connector for providing a connection with the housing connector, a driving device drives at least one of: the insertion and removal of the insert module into and out of the respective slot and includes two driving members and an actuator cooperating with one of the driving members for providing a displacement between the two driving members parallel to the plugging direction of the connectors, one of the driving members is mounted at the housing, while the other is mounted at the insert module, the actuator and one of the driving members are mounted at the housing or at the insert module, and the two driving members of the driving device are a projection extending perpendicularly to the plugging direction of the connectors.

Modular device

A cable holder, in particular for fiber optics cables, includes a base piece that contains a cable receiving duct that is open on top and axially, into which a cable can be loaded, and a cover piece that provides a retaining structure and that is hinged on the base piece to swivel from an open position into a closed position around a swivel axis. In the open position of the cover piece, the cover piece sticks out from the base piece and the cable is loadable into the cable receiving duct. In the closed position of the cover piece, the cover piece extends along the base piece and the retaining structure localizes the loaded cable on the cable receiving duct. The swivel axis extends in the area of one axial end of the cable receiving duct perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cable receiving duct and/or perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cable.

Cable holder

A carrier for several cable holders, especially of fiber optical cables, includes a housing that comprises several receptacles on one cable holder side, into which one of the cable holders can be plugged respectively. A cable that is held by the cable holder and that sticks out from it in a plug direction penetrates the housing on a device side that faces away from the cable holder side. The plug directions of several or all receptacles run parallel to each other.
