A motor vehicle body has an underbody and a link, which at one end is pivotably connected to the underbody and at another end carries a wheel. The connection to the underbody includes an underbody-side bearing support, in which a link-side pin engages.

Wheel suspension for a motor vehicle

A motor vehicle body includes a side sill and a pillar arranged on the side sill, which has a cross section with a first side and a following second side in a vehicle longitudinal direction. A cross member is attached to the side sill. A sill-side end section of the cross member includes a side wall following a first side wall of the end section in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The distance of the first side wall in the vehicle longitudinal direction towards the second side of the cross section of the pillar decreases in a vehicle transverse direction towards the side sill at least locally in regions. An upper cover wall is connected to a connection section of the cross member. The distance of the upper cover wall decreases in a vehicle vertical direction towards the pillar in the vehicle transverse direction at least locally in regions.

Motor vehicle body

A motor vehicle body includes a floor structure having at least one side member, and a superstructure arranged thereon and having a hinge pillar adjoining the floor structure. A reinforcing element is provided in a transition region of floor structure and hinge pillar. A first end portion of the reinforcing element is structurally connected to the floor structure and a second end portion of the reinforcing element located opposite the first end is structurally connected to the superstructure.

A frame structure for a motor vehicle is disclosed which includes a side member, a bumper cross member, a first crash box arranged in extension of the side member and a second crash box, which obliquely branches off to the side from the arrangement of side member and first crash box. The bumper cross member protrudes over the first crash box towards the side, and an outer end of the second crash box is fastened to the bumper cross member.

Frame structure for a motor vehicle

A bumper arrangement includes a bumper cross member, at least one crash box, which extends in a longitudinal direction and of which a front end is fastened to the bumper cross member, at least one support element extending along an outside of the crash box obliquely to the longitudinal direction, and a connection portion (), which is anchored on the crash box and at least on a with respect to the longitudinal direction middle region of the support element.

Bumper arrangement and method for its production

A support structure component is provided for a motor vehicle body and to a correspondingly configured motor vehicle body. The support structure component includes, but is not limited to a support element and a plastic fastening structure arranged thereon, which includes, but is not limited to a fastening element for fastening a motor vehicle component.

A frame structure is provided for the underbody of a self-supporting motor vehicle bodywork. The frame structure includes, but not included with an elongate tunnel and two sillboards parallel hereto. The sillboards are disposed on both sides of the tunnel. The frame structure also includes, but is not limited to a dashboard cowl with closing plate, which is connected directly to both sillboards and the tunnel, a wheel housing with a downwardly open main structural arc, the ends whereof are connected to the underbody, and on its side facing the underbody (e.g., the vehicle inner side) the main structural arc has a damper receptacle in its upper area, from which a supporting strut connected to the underbody projects downward.

A rear floor arrangement as well as a frame structure of an automotive body are provided having at least one first supporting structure component, which may be disposed in the inner or dry region of the motor vehicle and which may be directly connected to a second supporting structure component and inside the inner or dry region of the vehicle, which is mounted ahead of the first supporting structure component in the direction of travel and which extends at least in certain areas over a floor middle of the body.

Rear floor arrangement and frame structure of a self-supporting automotive body

A rear frame for a motor vehicle has a profile part manufactured from cast metal. The profile part has two legs, which are connected to one another via a cover element, and an attachment element. In this way, the rear frame has a particularly high stability and may be manufactured particularly cost-effectively.
