Solenoid valve system having a solenoid valve and further having a controller, wherein the solenoid valve includes a valve housing through which a fluid channel passes, in which fluid channel a valve member for temporarily sealing a valve seat formed in the fluid channel is movably accommodated, and including a solenoid drive which has a magnetic circuit with a solenoid coil and a linear-movable armature which is coupled to the valve member, the controller provides a coil current to the solenoid coil and is connected to a sensor which provides a sensor signal which is dependent on a movement of the armature, the controller analyzes the sensor signal to determine a movement of the armature, wherein the controller provides a closed loop control for the coil current in the presence of the armature movement.

Fluid assembly for use in a fluid system, having a control module including a processing unit for processing control commands into individual electrical control signals with individually adjustable control signal levels and a control signal level electrically connected to the processing unit, with a power unit, which has a power module for converting the control signals into individual electrical control currents as a function of the control signal levels and an output interface electrically connected to the power module, wherein the processing unit is designed to provide a first group of control signals in a first time interval which can be individually predetermined for each control signal and to provide a second group of control signals in a second time interval which can be individually predetermined for each control signal and follows the respective first time interval, wherein the first control signal and the second control signal are selected in such a way that the control currents in the first time interval are greater than the control currents in the second time interval.

Fluid assembly

A method and apparatus of diagnosing leakage in a fluid power system including a fluid supply line operatively connected to a plurality of valves which are connected to a plurality of actuators. Flow signals generated by a flow sensor disposed in the supply line are processed to obtain fluid consumption over time values and signals used to change the state of the plurality of valves are processes to determine a plurality of episodes. Each of the plurality of episodes corresponds to a pressurization of a particular branch of a particular actuator. The flow signals and the signals used to change the state of the valves are combined to calculate a change in air consumption value for each valve change of state. The change in air consumption values for each episode are compared to a predetermined reference value to determine any deviation corresponding to a particular one of the plurality of episode. The one of the plurality of episodes and corresponding pressurized branch with the greatest deviation is identified. A signal is generated indicating both that a leak is present in the system and the branch responsible for the leak.
