A heat transfer plate has a front gasket groove including an annular front groove part extending around a heat transfer area, upper and lower distribution areas, and first and third portholes, and second and fourth ring groove parts enclosing second and fourth portholes. An upper front groove portion of the front gasket groove extends between the second porthole and the upper distribution area. A lower front groove portion of the front gasket groove extends between the fourth porthole and the lower distribution area. A bottom of the upper front groove portion is inclined such that the front gasket groove depth, within the upper front groove portion, increases in a direction towards the second adiabatic area, and a bottom of the lower front groove portion is inclined such that the front gasket groove depth, within the lower front groove portion, increases in a direction towards the fourth adiabatic area.

Heat transfer plate and gasket

A connector, a gasket arrangement, a heat exchanger plate and an assembly are provided. The connector is arranged to engage with an edge portion of the heat exchanger plate for fastening a gasket to a first side of the heat exchanger plate. The connector includes a first connection member, a second connection member and a bridge. A first part of the first connection member is arranged to engage with the gasket and a second part of the first connection member engages with the bridge. A first part of the second connection member is arranged to engage with the gasket and a second part of the second connection member engages with the bridge. The connector includes a finger arranged between the first and second connection members, a connection part of the finger engaging which the bridge and the finger being arranged to extend from the bridge towards the gasket. The connector is characterized in that the finger has a width that is varying along a length of the finger, a width extension of the finger being parallel to a length extension of the bridge.

Attachment means, gasket arrangement, heat exchanger plate and assembly

A heat exchanger plate, where the plate is provided with a heat transfer surface having a corrugated pattern, comprising a diagonal open and closed side distribution support section positioned between a diagonal open respectively closed groove and the heat transfer surface, and a diagonal open and closed side adiabatic support section positioned between the open respectively closed diagonal groove and a port hole, where the heat exchanger plate further comprises a transfer path between the diagonal open side distribution support section and the heat transfer surface and a bypass path between the diagonal closed side distribution support section and the heat transfer surface. A heat exchanger comprising a plurality of heat exchanger plates is also disclosed. The advantage of this heat exchanger plate is that it allows for heat exchangers with an improved efficiency.
