Aspects of the disclosure relate to multicomputer processing and dissemination of data files. A computing platform having at least one processor, a memory, and a communication interface may search one or more social media platforms for unauthorized dissemination of a data file. The computing platform may correlate a unique identifying feature(s) of the disseminated data file to that of a copy of the data file previously distributed to a linked user account. The computing platform may transmit, via the communication interface, to an administrative computing device, an unauthorized dissemination report which, when processed by the administrative computing device causes a notification to be displayed on the administrative computing device. The notification may identify the linked user account associated with the unauthorized dissemination, the name, content, or general nature of the data file, and/or the social media platform(s) on which the data file was discovered.

User-specific watermark for maintaining security of data files

A system includes an authentication server and a media authentication device. The authentication server stores authenticated media files. The authenticated media files have an associated string value. Generally, the authentication device is used to scan a barcode on a media sample, determine a string value from the scanned barcode, generate a string value based on fragments of the media sample, and determine a string value from an authenticated media file on the authentication server. The authentication device then concatenates the barcode string value with the generated string value, and it concatenates the authentication string value with the generated string value. A hash function is applied to the concatenated string values, and the resulting hash values are compared. The authentication device causes to be displayed an indication that the media sample is authentic when the hash values match.

System and method for authenticating media using barcodes and hash values

An apparatus includes a memory and a hardware processor. The memory stores a first profile and a first hash. The processor receives a first message indicating that the user has entered a building and updates the first profile to produce a second profile. The processor generates a second hash, calculates a first deviation between the second hash and the first hash, and determines that the first deviation is below a threshold. The processor receives a second message indicating that the user has requested access to a software application and updates the second profile to produce a third profile. The processor also generates a third hash, calculates a second deviation between the third hash and the first hash, determines that the second deviation is above the threshold, and in response, flags the user for increased security monitoring and denies the user access to the software application.

Security tool for considering multiple security contexts

A hand covering that uses three temporarily securable flaps on its back portion to provide for the extremely easy ingress and egress of a hand while allowing the invention to remain positioned securely upon the wrist throughout, the hand covering having palm, back, and finger portions in the general manner of a standard mitten or glove, the back portion having a first and second flap opposite one another to grip the user's wrist, and a third flap, which normally covers an exit hole for the hand, located opposite the more fingerward end of the second flap, and connecting to the second flap; when the user desires to extract his or her hand from the glove, he or she need only perform a metacarpel flexion motion with the hand and pull upon the finger portion, causing the second and third flaps to unfasten, and creating an automatic point of egress for the hand, the first flap, not affected by the action in the knuckle region, remaining securely fastened to the lower, wristward portion of the third flap, and therefore providing a consistent grip upon the wrist throughout the process of egress; manner of ingress being simply the reverse.
