Tools for crimping or cutting of an object such as a wire, cable, or connector. The tool includes a first member and a second member configured to come together through a gap to crimp or cut a wire, cable or connector and a laser positioned to visually indicate a region where at least one member traverses as the first and second member come together through the gap. This visual indication aids in alignment of the object for the crimping or cutting operation.

Laser guided tools

Disclosed herein is a hydraulic tool working head guide. The hydraulic tool working head guide includes a main section having a general plate shape. The main section is adapted to be connected to an exterior surface of a hydraulic tool working head. The main section includes a slot having an open end at an edge of the main section and a closed end at a middle portion of the main section. The slot extends through a thickness of the main section. The closed end is adapted to be aligned with a receiving area of the hydraulic tool working head. The slot is adapted to substantially center a connector and/or a conductor in the receiving area.

Crimping tool connector locator

A jaw assembly including a first jaw, a second jaw, and a pivot pin. The first jaw has two spaced first ears having pivot pin holes through the first ears. The second jaw has two spaced second ears having a pivot pin holes through the second ears. The pivot pin is located in the pivot pin holes to pivotably mount the first and second jaws to each other. The pivot sections include a guide surface configured to guide alignment of the ears relative to each other to thereby align the pivot pin holes with each other. The jaws each include a rear end with a roller contact surface configured to be moved apart by rollers of a roller assembly of a tool. The rear ends each include a concave surface configured to locate one of the rollers therein.

Jaw assembly

A powder operated tool including a frame, a tool body and a reusable combined cartridge holder and ram rear end receiver. The frame includes an anvil section. The tool body is adjustably connected to the frame. The tool body comprises a ram, and a breech assembly connected to a rear end of the tool body. The breech assembly includes a striker, a breech pad and a firing pin. The reusable combined cartridge holder and ram rear end receiver is removably connected to the tool body.

Powder operated tool

An electrical conductor splice for connecting at least two electrical conductors. The splice includes a connector shell having a generally elongate open first lateral side; and two wedges adapted to be located in the shell at longitudinally spaced positions from each other inside opposite ends of the shell. Each wedge has a first side with a conductor contact surface and an opposite second side with a shell contact surface. The shell includes a conductor contact section for contacting the conductors. The conductor contact section is adapted to receive two of the conductors into the shell from opposite directions in generally coaxially aligned positions.

Electrical conductor wedge connector splice

A hydraulic tool working head including a frame; a ram movably connected to the frame in a first longitudinal direction, wherein the ram is adapted to be moved relative to the frame by hydraulic fluid; and a movable member connected to a first end of the ram by an automatic adjusting connection. The movable member is adapted to move relative to the ram in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

Hydraulic tool automatic adjusting die holder

A hydraulic tool working head including a frame, a ram and a connection between the ram and the frame. The frame has a first section with a hydraulic cylinder area, an opposite second section and a middle section connecting the first and second sections to each other. The ram is movably located in the hydraulic cylinder area and extends out of the first section of the frame towards the opposite second section of the frame. The connection between the ram and the middle section includes the middle section of the frame having two slots extending into opposite sides of the middle section and the ram having two cantilevered hook sections which generally face towards each other. The hook sections have ends slidably respectively located in the two slots of the middle section.

Hydraulic tool working head

An electrical splice connector including a shell and two wedges. The shell includes two wedge receiving areas. The receiving areas are located at least partially lateral to each other. Each receiving area includes a general wedge shape. Each receiving area also includes a conductor contact surface generally parallel with each other. The two wedges are adapted to be inserted into the receiving areas to wedge electrical conductors against the conductor contact surface.
