Techniques for perspective-preserving seamless application switching are disclosed. A system may display a first interface using a first application. The first interface includes interface elements representing a plurality of objects. The system may detect a zoom-in command, received by the first application, requesting a particular zoom level for a first interface element, corresponding to a first object in the first plurality of objects. The system may determine that the requested zoom level exceeds a threshold. Responsive to determining that the requested zoom level exceeds the threshold, the system may display, using a second application, a second interface corresponding to the first object. The second interface may include one or more of: (a) characteristics associated with the first object that were not displayed by the first application, or (b) user input elements for executing operations associated with the first object that were not displayed by the first application.

Perspective-preserving seamless application switching

A target quantity of a target product is needed. However, the target quantity of the target product is not available from a set of sources. A fulfillment plan is generated. The fulfillment plan includes obtaining quantities of more than one product in order to fulfill the need for the target quantity of the target product. The fulfillment plan is executed. Sensors associated with a mobile computing device (e.g., accelerometers, gyroscopes, light sensors, microphones, image capture sensors) may receive inputs of various physical conditions to which the mobile computing device is being subjected. Based on one or more of these inputs, the mobile computing device may automatically select a content presentation mode that is likely to improve the consumption of the content by the user. In other embodiments, image analysis may be used to access different mobile computing applications.

Techniques are disclosed for generating a search index for a hierarchical data set so that a search query of the hierarchical data may return results without searching or analyzing the hierarchical data set itself. The techniques generate a flattened index that includes selected indexed attributes and additional attributes to be displayed with the indexed attributes. The techniques also generate a hierarchy representation of the hierarchical data. Using these generated data structures, query results may be returned without directly traversing the hierarchical data itself while also providing data and hierarchical context for the query results by overlaying the query results with nodes of the hierarchical representation or otherwise concurrently displaying the query results with nodes of the hierarchical representation.

Techniques for displaying content based on interface scale are disclosed. A system may display, within an interface, a plurality of elements corresponding respectively to a plurality of sets of content. A display size of each of the elements is based on a user-selected zoom level. Responsive to receiving user input selecting a first zoom level for the interface, the system determines a first display size for an element, for displaying the element within the interface. The element is associated with a particular set of content. A first data set in the particular set of content is ranked higher than a second data set in the particular set of content. Based at least on the first display size, the system may select the first data set of the particular set of content for displaying within the element without selecting the second data set of the particular set of content for displaying.

A craving control device comprising a housing, a craving input actuator supported by the housing, a wireless communicator supported by the housing, and a controller is provided. The craving input actuator can be configured to obtain information from a user pertaining to a timing, frequency, or intensity of a craving. The controller can be operatively connected to the craving input actuator and the wireless communicator to communicate craving information received by the craving input actuator via the wireless communicator to a device external to the housing. The device external to the housing can be a personal communication device. The housing can be sized and configured to be enclosed in the user's hand and or to be placed in a pocket of the user's clothing. Methods for using the craving control devices are also provided.

System and method for displaying digital imagery on a digital imagery display locket

A system and method for electronic personal identity verification is provided. A user is registered with an authentication service, which includes providing to the service a biometric signature associated with the user and information personally known to the user. Identification data that includes the biometric signature is sent from an identification device worn by the user to a user device associated with the user. An input personally known to the user is received into the user device. Encrypted credentials are sent from the user device to the authentication service. The received encrypted credentials are compared to the biometric signature and the information provided to the authentication service. A claims token is sent from the authentication service to the user device upon the encrypted credentials matching the biometric signature and the information provided to the authentication service. An application is accessed via a third party provider using the claims token.
