A wireless communication interface and a driving method thereof are provided. The wireless communication interface includes a substrate, a plurality of active antennas, a plurality of passive antennas, and a sensing driving circuit. The active antennas are disposed on the substrate for receiving a radio frequency signal. The passive antennas are disposed on the substrate for resonating the RF signals of the adjacent active antennas in response to a control signal. The sensing driving circuit is coupled to the active antennas and the passive antennas for providing the radio frequency signal and the control signal.

A method of driving a display device operably switchable between a two-dimensional (2D) display mode and a three-dimensional (3D) display mode. The display device has four electrodes alternatively arranged between first and second substrates. The method includes applying a first voltage to the first electrodes of the first electrode structures and the second electrode structures, a second voltage to the second electrodes of the first electrode structures and the second electrode structures, a third voltage to the third electrodes of the first electrode structures and the second electrode structure; and a fourth voltage to fourth electrodes of the first electrode structures and the second electrode structure, respectively.

An entertainment displaying system for generating interactive displaying effects corresponding to a real object in view of an observation area is disclosed. The entertainment displaying system includes a tracking module, a computing module and a stereoscopic displaying module. The tracking module is used for tracking a relative position relationship between the real object and the observation area. The computing module is configured for generating a stereoscopic virtual object according to the relative position relationship. The stereoscopic displaying module includes a transparent displaying apparatus and an optical-shielding structure. The transparent displaying apparatus is configured for displaying the stereoscopic virtual object. The optical-shielding structure is disposed adjacent to the transparent displaying apparatus and located between the transparent displaying apparatus and the real object. The optical-shielding structure is configured to be switched according to a virtual depth-of-field order between the stereoscopic virtual object and the real object.

Entertainment displaying system and interactive stereoscopic displaying method of the same

A Fresnel liquid crystal lens and a 2D/3D switchable display panel are provided. The Fresnel liquid crystal lens includes a plurality of liquid crystal lens units. Each liquid crystal lens unit includes a first main electrode and two first sub electrodes disposed on a first substrate, a second main electrode and two second sub electrodes disposed on a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second substrates. The first sub electrodes are disposed on two opposite sides of the first main electrode, and a first gap is formed between the first main electrode and the first sub electrode. The second sub electrodes are disposed on two opposite sides of the second main electrode, and a second gap is formed between the second main electrode and the second sub electrode. In a vertical projection direction, the first main electrode overlaps the second main electrode, the first sub electrodes overlap the second sub electrodes, and the first main electrode partially overlaps the second sub electrodes.

Fresnel liquid crystal lens and 2D/3D switchable display panel

A liquid crystal (LC) lens includes first and second substrates, an LC layer disposed therebetween, and a plurality of first and second electrode structures. Each electrode structure has a plurality of first, second, third and fourth electrodes spaced-apart and alternately arranged along a first direction, where the first and second electrodes are disposed between the first substrate and the LC layer, while the third and fourth electrodes are disposed between the second substrate and the LC layer. In each first electrode structure, each of the first and second electrodes and a corresponding one of the third and fourth electrodes are aligned at a left tilted angle, while in each second electrode structure, each of the first and second electrodes and a corresponding one of the third and fourth electrodes are aligned at a right tilted angle. The first and second electrode structures are alternately arranged along a second direction.

A stereoscopic display method includes generating a left-eye crosstalk parameter according to left-eye image data and right-eye image data; generating a right-eye crosstalk parameter according to the left-eye image data and the right-eye image data; generating calibrated left-eye image data according to the left-eye image data, the right-eye image data, the left-eye crosstalk parameter, and the right-eye crosstalk parameter; generating calibrated right-eye image data according to the left-eye image data, the right-eye image data, the left-eye crosstalk parameter, and the right-eye crosstalk parameter; and displaying the calibrated left-eye image data and the calibrated right-eye image data on a display apparatus.

A liquid crystal lens includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of first main electrodes, and a plurality of second main electrodes. The second substrate is disposed opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first main electrodes are disposed on a surface of the first substrate adjacent to the liquid crystal layer. Any two adjacent first main electrodes define a first gap therebetween. The second main electrodes are disposed on a surface of the second substrate adjacent to the liquid crystal layer. Any two adjacent second main electrodes define a second gap therebetween. A vertical projection of each first main electrode on the surface of the second substrate overlaps at least two adjacent second main electrodes to form overlapping portions of the at least two second main electrodes, respectively.

A control method for image displaying applicable for use to a dual-side transparent display. The control method includes the following operations each required to be executed at least one time in a display period. The operations are: providing a left-eye signal of an image displayed on a first display surface of the dual-side transparent display, to a first side thereof; providing a right-eye signal of an image displayed on the first display surface of the dual-side transparent display, to the first side thereof; providing a left-eye signal of an image displayed on a second display surface of the dual-side transparent display, to a second side thereof; providing a right-eye signal of an image displayed on the second display surface of the dual-side transparent display, to the second side thereof; and configuring the dual-side transparent display to present a transparent state. Control method for image displaying and display system using the same

A liquid crystal (LC) lens includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a plurality of liquid crystal units disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. Each liquid crystal unit includes a first sub-unit having a first electrode and a second electrode disposed on the first substrate with a first interval therebetween and a third electrode and a fourth electrode disposed on the second substrate with a second interval therebetween. A first voltage difference is applied between the first electrode and the third electrode, and a second voltage difference is applied between the second electrode and the fourth electrode. The polarity of the first voltage difference is contrary to that of the second voltage difference, and the first interval is not equal to the second interval. A 3D display including the LC lens and a display panel is also provided.

An electrically-driven liquid crystal lens panel includes a pair of substrates, a liquid crystal layer, alignment layers, and electrode layers. The electrode layer is disposed between the alignment layer and the substrate, has effective and non-effective regions, and includes electrodes. Each electrode has main and extending portions and a turning point, wherein the turning points are disposed at sites at which the main portions and the extending portions connect, the main portions extends along a first extending direction, and each extending portion extends along a second extending direction different from the first extending direction. The second extending direction is substantially parallel to an alignment direction of the alignment layer. A connecting line formed by connecting the turning points is a boundary between the effective region and the non-effective region, wherein the main portions are disposed in the effective region, and the extending portions are disposed in the non-effective region.

Electrically-driven liquid crystal lens panel and stereoscopic display panel

A vibration type touch-sensing panel includes a substrate, a plurality of vibration units, and a control module, wherein the vibration units are disposed on the substrate to form a matrix. Each one of the vibration units includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, and an electret layer, wherein the first electrode layer is disposed on the substrate. The electret layer is disposed between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer and located on one of the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. The control module provides a driving voltage between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer so that the electret layer and one of the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer generate a relative vibration.

Display device having vibration function and vibration type touch-sensing panel

A gamma correction apparatus comprising a digital to analog converter (DAC), a plurality of compensating circuits, and at least one adjusting circuit is provided. The DAC is used to receive RGB digital signals to further generate analog signals. The analog signals are then transferred to the relative pixel devices through the signal lines on the LCD panel. The compensating circuits inserted between the DAC and the signal lines are used to adjust the analog signals to correct the displaying brightness of the pixel devices. The adjusting circuit connecting to the compensating circuits is used to control the operation of the compensation circuits. In addition, a method for adjusting gamma curves by providing three common voltage levels related to RGB colors individually is also provided to achieve better white balance.

Gamma correction apparatus and a method of the same

The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display panel, a thin film transistors array substrate and curing line structure thereof in use of phase separation alignment (PSA) process. The curing line structure has a contact pad allocated on a periphery area of the substrate, and a transmission line extending from the contact pad, passing over a sealant-distributing area of the substrate, to be electrically connected with at least one common line located on a pixel expression area of the substrate. A predetermined interval is kept between the transmission line and each of the adjacent transmission lines on the substrate to ensure a non-electrical contact between the transmission line and the adjacent transmission lines.
