A composite diffuser structure includes a transparent layer having a light-entering surface and a light-emitting surface, a lenticular structure having a plurality of lenticular lens formed on the light-emitting surface, and a plurality of refection structures located on the light-entering surface. Each of the lenticular lenses has a first width. There is an opening between two adjacent reflection structures. Each of the openings has a second width. Thereby, the light beam enters into the transparent layer via the opening to increase the light efficiency. By using the diffuser layer located above the lenticular structure, the view angle can be adjusted.

Composite diffuser structure and backlight module

A liquid crystal display, comprising: a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight module. The backlight module comprising: a reflection unit, a light emitting unit, and a compound diffusion plate structure. The light emitting unit has a plurality of light emitting components installed within the installation space of the reflection unit. The compound diffusion plate structure is placed on one side of the light emitting unit, comprising: a body unit and a printing micro diffusion unit. The body unit has a main layer, and a plurality of micro diffusion particles formed inside the body unit, allowing light to diffuse within the body unit. The printing micro diffusion unit has a plurality of convex lens units formed on a light entrance plane or a light exit plane of the body unit by means of printing.

Compound diffusion plate structure, backlight module, and liquid crystal display

An optical thin film with high hardness is made by insert mold technology and manufacturing processes thereof. The optical thin film is applied on a surface of a plastic housing for increasing hardness of the plastic housing so as to prevent scratches. During manufacturing processes of the insert mold for producing a hard coating film, the step of hardening treatment is moved to the last step so as to avoid cracks on the optical thin film generated during the procedures. Thus, the yield rate is increased, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.

Manufacturing process for optical thin film with high hardness made by insert mold technology

A high-brightness diffusion plate with trapezoid lens applied to a direct-type backlight module is disclosed. The high-brightness diffusion plate with trapezoid lens according to the present invention consists of a diffusion plate and a plurality of trapezoid lens disposed on at least one side of the diffusion plate for improving light efficiency and diffusion effect of the diffusion plate. By the diffusion plate with trapezoid lens, the direct-type backlight module provides better light output as well as more uniform brightness. Moreover, the diffusion plate of the present invention is used in combination with all or part of optical film. The optical film includes brightness enhancement film (BEF), an upper diffuser sheet and an lower diffuser sheet. The diffusion plate is made from plastic. By extrusion, the diffusion plate and the plurality of trapezoid lens are easily processed to form an integral. Therefore, the direct-type backlight module has better light output efficiency with lower cost.

A structure of direct type backlight module with high uniform emitting light explores a design of lenticular lens of diffusing plate. The lenticular lens is against the central location of light source, where the light of lamp is scattered and the curvature of said lenticular lens far away light source is enlarged, then to reduce the scatter effect and achieve uniformity. The other lenticular lens also can be designed for light location and distance. Each lenticular lens is against light location, and incident light can be reflected through the angle of microstructure surface at the entrance facet, but farther location can be resulted in total refraction due to large inclined angle, and diminishing the transmission light of light source then influencing the uniformity, finally reducing total reflection of wide angle.

Structure of direct type backlight module with high uniform emitting light

A direct type backlight module with a diffuser plate and its manufacturing method for application to an LCD TV is provided. The diffuser plate has a plurality of columnar lenticular lens surfaces for scattering incident light to increase its light uniformity and reducing the quantity of light dispersant in the diffuser plate in the range of from 30% to 50% to increase light transmission ratio. Through the use of vertical or horizontal lenticular lenses of at least one columnar lenticular lens surface the diffusion degree in every direction is adjusted.
