An aspect of the disclosure includes a method for downlink reception in unlicensed band used by a UE, including: after a data burst transmitted in a unlicensed band, stopping monitoring a downlink channel in response to ending of the data burst; and in response to receiving a reference signal or in response to expiration of a time period, starting monitoring the downlink channel, wherein the data burst is transmitted via a first bandwidth part (BWP) and initiated by a base station.

Method for downlink reception in unlicensed band and user equipment using the same

A method for bandwidth part (BWP) operating of a serving cell, adapted to a user equipment (UE) in a first BWP, is provided. The method includes: receiving a signaling; and determining whether to switch to a second BWP from the first BWP according to the signaling.

Method for BWP operating and user equipment using the same

The disclosure provides a network access method and a user equipment (UE) using the same method in an environment of a 5G communication system. In an exemplary embodiment in accordance with the disclosure, the disclosure is directed to a network access method for a UE. The method would include not limited to: receiving a Synchronization Signal/physical broadcast channel Block (SSB) which comprises at least one of a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) or mapping information; and determining from the SSB at least one of a SSB candidate number, a SSB index or a SSB pattern.
