An environmentally friendly cement comprises (1) an active filler comprising waste materials composed of a thermal insulation wool and a waste thereof; (2) an inert filler comprising metakaolin and an aggregate optionally selected from cement, fine sand, gravel, waste to be solidified, and organic resin; and (3) an aqueous solution of sodium metasilicate as an alkaline compound. A method for producing the environmentally friendly cement comprises mixing ingredients (1) and (3) and ingredients (2) and (3) respectively to obtain a slurry A and a slurry B respectively; mixing the slurry A and B; and hardening the final slurry, whereby elements silicon and aluminum in the ingredient (1) are dissolved out in the basic solution of the ingredient (3), and a closed framework structure is formed by bonding silica and alumina as tetrahedrons. The environmentally friendly cement has excellent fire tolerance, heat insulation, acid and alkaline resistance, and mechanical properties.

Disclosed is a method for preparing a granulated inorganic adsorbent for radionuclides including slurry forming, solidification, drying and hardening, granulation, and washing steps: blending a dihydrogen phosphate, a powdered inorganic adsorbent raw material and a setting time regulator in water to form a slurry; adding sintered magnesia into the slurry, and blending the mixture to form a solidified slurry; setting the solidified slurry on a disk member, and naturally drying to hardening in a specific temperature range to form a hardened solid material; smashing the hardened solid material and performing vibration sieving by using a screen to obtain a granulated inorganic adsorbent for radionuclides containing residual reagents; washing the granulated inorganic adsorbent for radionuclides containing residual reagents with water, to remove the residual reagents to complete preparation, where the adsorption capacity of the granulated inorganic adsorbent for radionuclides thus prepared is in the range of 0.7 to 1.9 meq/g.

Method for preparing granulated inorganic adsorbent for radionuclides

The present invention relates to a method for granulation of an absorbent and adsorbent granules prepared by the same. The method comprises the steps of blending sodium metasilicate, metakaoline and an inorganic ion exchange material in water to form a slurry; decanting the resulted slurry onto a nylon cloth of 300 to 400 meshes and natural drying at ambient temperature to solidification; then breaking the solidified final product and sieving it by a screen having a mesh size of from 0.2 to 2.5 mm to provide the absorbent granules having excellent absorbability.

Method for granulation of absorbent and adsorbent granules prepared by the same

A method for treating waste water is provided, in which a wastewater is treated through a distilling process to obtain a distilled liquid, and then a reactant is added into the distilled liquid during the distilled liquid flowing to a liquid collecting tank, such that the reactant reacts with the distilled liquid by utilizing the residual temperature of the distilled liquid to form a processed liquid. Meanwhile, a system for wastewater treatment is also provided, which includes a distillation unit, a guiding unit, a means for adding the reactant, and a collecting unit. Since the present invention utilizes the residual temperature of the distilled liquid for the need of the reaction, an additional heat source is unnecessary, such that the consumption of energy can be greatly reduced.

A method for making a metal-titania pulp and photocatalyst is provided, including firstly acidically hydrolyzing a titanium alkoxide solution in presence of an alcohol solvent to get a colloidal solution; then, adding at least one metal salt solution into the colloidal solution to produce a nano-porous metal/titania photocatalyst under appropriate conditions by appropriate reaction. The nano-porous metal/titania photocatalyst thus prepared has excellent optical activity and is applicable in research of water decomposition with light to improve production efficiency of hydrogen energy. In addition, the photocatalyst is further processed in the form of powder or film to facilitate industrial application in wastewater treatment.

A wastewater treatment apparatus and method with stair-like heat treatment tanks for performing a breakdown process are disclosed, in which the apparatus comprises: a mixing tank, for evenly mixing wastewater with reaction agents and thus forming a mixed solution; a plurality of heat treatment tanks, for enabling the mixed solution to circulate therein while being heating for a period of time so as to perform an organic destruction process upon the mixed solution and thus cause a discharging liquid to be formed; a heat exchanger, for enabling a heat exchanging process between the discharging liquid and the mixed solution to be performed therein; a condensation tank, for receiving and cooling the discharging liquid; a water purifier, for purifying and thus separating the discharging water into a cleaned water and a concentrated liquid for outputting; an agent recycling unit, for electrolyzing the concentrated liquid so as to recycle the reaction agents.

Wastewater treatment apparatus and method with stair-like heat treatment tanks

A preparation method for synthesis of oil-based magnetic fluid is disclosed. One end of a compound with a diamino group or an organic extraction reagent is connected with oil-based material while the other end is connected with surfactant having a carboxyl group that further reacts with magnetic metal oxide nanoparticles containing surfactant to form a stable useful oil-based magnetic fluid. The present invention is applied to process wastewater with oil, organic compounds or inorganic metal ions. Under the control of the magnetic field, the floating oil on the water surface is collected. The method can also be applied to the separation as well as collection of materials in the water such as organic compounds and metals.
