A refrigeration appliance system including a camera captures images of objects entering and exiting the interior space of a refrigeration appliance and processes the images to identify the objects in the image, for example, using a trained machine learning model. The system may also process the images to determine a volume or quantity within the object. Using this determined information, the system may then create, update, or alter a log of objects within the refrigeration appliance and/or the determined volumes or quantities. The system may also provide the log and/or recommendations of items to purchase to a user.

A controller within a refrigeration application controls temperature and humidity within a compartment of the refrigeration application. The controller may begin cooling the compartment based on a measured temperature value for the compartment. The controller may delay a starting time of an evaporator fan within the compartment based at least in part on a measured humidity value for the compartment. The controller may also adjust an operating time of a condenser fan based at least in part on the measured humidity value.

Method and apparatus for controlling humidity within a compartment of refrigeration appliance

The disclosure may enable the mounting of a trim member and an end cap on a holder member to provide a flush fit and attractive door trim. Embodiments may enable the trim member and the end cap to be snapped onto the holder member without the need for any excessive force. The disclosed device and method may comprise mounting trim on refrigerator doors. Embodiments may include a support member that may be mounted on a side of the door, a holder member that may be mounted within the support member, a trim member that may be mounted on the holder member to cover at least a portion of the support member, and an end cap that may be mounted on the holder member to cover an end of the support member. The end cap may be disposed in engagement with the trim member to form co-planar surfaces for flush mounting.

The passive vent assembly includes a passive vent structure having a series of air vents defined therein and through which drying air flows are drawn into the wash chamber of the dishwasher, a diffuser mounted over the air vents and including a series of fins for spreading the drying air flows across the wash chamber, and a moisture trap hood mounted over an upper surface of the passive vent structure.
