Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for interference-aware beam failure detection procedures. One or more beam failure parameters may be adjusted based on a likelihood of temporary interference being present for a communications beam. The beam failure parameters may include beam failure indication (BFI) counts or count thresholds that may be adjusted based on a likelihood of BFIs being the result of temporary interference. Additionally or alternatively, one or more measurement thresholds that trigger a BFI may be adjusted based on a likelihood of a presence of temporary interference.

Techniques for interference-based beam failure detection

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of non-preferred resources to a second UE and an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for the second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on the non-preferred resources. In another aspect, a first UE may transmit an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for a second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on conflicting resources (e.g., resources reserved by the second UE and a third UE). Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support inclusion of layer 1 (L1) or layer 2 (L2) cell mobility information within a layer 3 (L3) handover command. A base station may transmit, to the UE, signaling indicating for the UE to perform a measurement on a first set of cells. The UE may perform the measurement on the first set of cells and may transmit, to the base station, an indication associated with the measurement on the first set of cells. In response to the indication, the base station may transmit, to the UE, an L3 handover command, where the L3 handover command may include L1 or L2 cell mobility information, such as an indication of a second set of cells that the UE is to use for L1 or L2 cell mobility after completing the L3 handover command.

Techniques for providing cell mobility information during handover

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for application of a repetition factor to uplink (UL) control channels. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, on a downlink (DL) control channel, an indication of a configuration for repetition of a UL control channel scheduled by the DL control channel and another UL control channel, wherein the configuration is applied for repetition of the other UL control channel after a configured time period starting from reception of the DL control channel; and transmitting the repetition of the UL control channel and the repetition of the other UL control channel in accordance with the configuration.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a beam failure detection reference signal (BFD-RS). The UE may determine, autonomously at the UE based at least in part on the BFD-RS, a beam failure instance (BFI) count for different types of BFI including BFI noise and BFI interference. The UE may detect a beam failure based at least in part on the BFI count satisfying a threshold. Numerous other aspects are described.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Wireless devices may be configured to support techniques for bi-directional discontinuous reception (DRX) alignment and centralized DRX alignment. In the context of bi-directional DRX alignment, DRX configurations at two respective user equipments (UEs) are first established in a first direction, and then DRX configurations are then established in the reverse direction based on the previously-established DRX configurations. In particular, DRX configurations in the reverse direction may be selected such that the Uu and sidelink DRX configurations are aligned at the respective UEs and across the UEs. Comparatively, in the context of centralized DRX alignment, a master base station receives 'candidate' Uu and sidelink DRX configurations for multiple UEs, and selects Uu and sidelink DRX configurations for each UE from the sets of candidate DRX configurations in order to ensure DRX alignment across the respective UEs.

Discontinuous reception alignment for wireless communications

A method of wireless communication at a UE is disclosed herein. The method includes receiving a L1 or L2 mobility cell configuration for a set of multiple cell groups. Each cell group comprises multiple cells. Cell groups within the set of multiple cell groups are able to be activated or deactivated for L1 or L2 mobility. The method further includes receiving L1 or L2 signaling indicating a PCG from one or more activated cell groups, the PCG including a cell that serves as a SpCell.

A first UE may establish a sidelink connection with at least one second UE via a first PCC. The first PCC and a first set of SCCs may be associated with a first transmission of the first UE. The sidelink connection with the at least one second UE may be associated with carrier aggregation. The first UE may detect, and transmit a first indication, that at least one of (i) the sidelink connection is associated with an RLF value that is within an RLF threshold of an RLF limit, or (ii) the first set of SCCs is capable of maintaining the sidelink connection. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an activated UE relay measurement configuration that includes one or more first sidelink measurement parameters. A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication between a user equipment (UE) and a base station. The UE monitors for a wake-up signal (WUS) within a WUS monitoring window based on a jitter monitoring window associated with jittered data traffic at a base station. The base station transmits, to the UE, the WUS. The UE determines whether the WUS is received within the WUS monitoring window. The UE detects a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasion following a location of the WUS by an offset based on the WUS being received within the WUS monitoring window. The base station transmits, to the UE, in the SPS occasion following the WUS by the offset, a physical downlink shared channel including a data frame of the jittered data traffic.
