An apparatus includes a power-providing connector port configured to be directly coupled to an external device without an intervening cable or an adapter connected between the apparatus and the external device. An internal battery is coupled to the power-providing connector port and configured to provide power via the power-providing connector port to the external device.

A needle bending assembly configured to at least temporarily contain a needle can include a first housing section, a second housing section, and a coupling element coupled between the first housing section and the second housing section. The first housing section defines a first cavity configured to at least temporarily contain a first section of the needle. The second housing section defines a second cavity configured to at least temporarily contain a second section of the needle forming a distal tip. The coupling element is configured such that when the needle is contained within the housing sections, movement of the second housing section relative to the first housing section results in a bending of the needle at a location corresponding to the coupling element.

An apparatus includes a housing having a first connector port at a first end of the housing and a second connector port at a second end of the housing. The first end and the second end are opposite one another. An activator is configured to simultaneously move the first connector port and the second connector port when a force is applied. When the first connector port is extended beyond the housing, the second connector port is retracted into the housing, and when the second connector port is extended beyond the housing, the first connector port is retracted into the housing. An internal battery is coupled to the first connector port and configured to be charged via the first connector port from an external power source, and coupled to the second connector port and configured to provide power via the second connector port to an external device.

The present invention relates to a collapsible clothes rack. The rack includes a lateral center bar with ends distal to each other, each end being attached to a center hinge assembly. A pair of foldable wing assemblies are attached to the center hinge assemblies and extend transversal to the lateral center bar. Embodiments of assemblies used for bending spinal needles and method for producing bent spinal needles used in medical procedures are disclosed. In one embodiment, a straight needle is placed in position for a fulcrum to apply pressure onto a designated spot on the needle and apply a bending pressure to bend the needle while the needle is supported at both ends. A barrier wall is configured to limit the movement of the needle resulting from the bending force to prevent overbending of the needle. In two other embodiments, a dual angle bending member enables selecting the bending angle desired by the user to be applied onto the needle. The angle of the bent needle is considerably reduced due to metal relaxation; however, the angle reduction is predictable and is taken into account in calculating the target bending angle.
