A media slice includes a guide member and a docking surface with locating members, locking members and a first connector. A cavity in the media slice is open to the docking surface. An information handling system includes locating member receivers and a second connector. The information handling system is docked in the media slice by using the guide member and locating members to align the information handling system above the media slice. The locating members engage the locating member receivers and hold the information handling system parallel to the docking surface. With the locating members and locating member receivers engaged, the information handling system may be lowered onto the media slice, allowing the first connector and second connector to be mated and the locking members to lock the information handling system to the media slice. A battery may be stored in the cavity to be locked into the information handling system/media slice combination.

A computer keyboard includes a base having a user surface. A keyboard is mounted on the user surface. The keyboard includes a support plate having a first surface and a second surface. The second surface is convex and abuts the base. A plurality of keyboard keys are mounted adjacent the first surface. Attachment tabs are provided on the support plate to secure the support plate to the base which biases the convex surface into continuous contact with the base.

An electronic device such as an AC adaptor includes a cable spool. A cable connector is provided on a housing for the AC adaptor. A cable extends from the connector. The cable may be wrapped around the housing in a spool-like manner for storing the cable on the housing. The cable is confined in a spool by a pair of spaced-apart guide members which extend from the housing.

An apparatus and method for fusing opposing spinal vertebrae is disclosed. In an embodiment for a spinal implant of the present invention, the implant includes a body assembly and a retention member coupled to the body assembly. The retention member includes a tang where the tang is extendible from the body assembly. In a method of the present invention, the method includes the step of inserting an implant between adjacent vertebrae with a retention member of the implant in a first retracted configuration. The method also includes the step of configuring the retention member in a second extended configuration wherein when the retention member is in its second extended configuration, a portion of a tang of the retention member extends from the implant and into one of the adjacent vertebrae.

Apparatus and method for fusing opposing spinal vertebrae

A method for allowing a data processing system to use multiple smart batteries substantially simultaneously coupled to the same smart bus, the method including but not limited to detecting at least two smart batteries connected to a smart battery bus; and selectively controlling at least one of the at least two smart batteries via isolation of the smart battery bus clock signal. In one embodiment, circuitry is used to effect the foregoing-described method; the circuitry can be virtually any combination of hardware, software, and/or firmware configured to effect the foregoing-described method depending upon the design choices of the system designer.
