Golf clubs having weighting systems with movable weights are disclosed. In one embodiment, the golf club head includes: a main body having a periphery; and a weighting system including a movable weight, wherein the weighting system is configured to allow the weight to move between: a first position inward of the periphery of the main body; and a second position wherein at least a portion of the weight is located outward of the periphery of the main body. In other cases, the movable weight need not be movable to a position that is outward of the periphery of the main body.

Golf clubs, and more particularly to a golf putter and a club head for a putter are disclosed. In one embodiment, the club head has a body having a club face, a first extension portion at the first end of the club face extending in a direction either outwardly, or rearwardly and outwardly away from the center of the club face; and a second extension portion at the second end of the club face extending in a direction either outwardly, or rearwardly and outwardly away from the center of the club face. In this embodiment, at least one of the first and second extension portions forms an angle of greater than or equal to about 40&#xb0;, 45&#xb0;, or some other suitable angle, and less than or equal to about 90&#xb0; from an imaginary line oriented perpendicular to the club face and passing through at least one of the outermost portion of the club face at the heel or the toe of the club face. One or both of the extensions may have a weight joined thereto, which weight comprises a material having a specific gravity that is higher than that of at least a portion of the body of the club head.

Golf clubs having improved features and a golf swing training device are disclosed. In one embodiment, the golf club has a club head made of at least one material having a first specific gravity, and at least one weighting portion that has a higher specific gravity than the first specific gravity of the material forming the main body of the club head. In another embodiment, the golf club has a club head of the 'iron' type, and the club head has a sole that is provided with 'bounce' thereon. In another embodiment, the golf club has a club head of the &#x201c;iron&#x201d; type that has a configuration that provides it with improved ability to cut through the &#x201c;rough&#x201d; on the golf course. In another embodiment, the golf club has a club head having a club face with at least one portion thereof that has a thickness that is modified to account for a groove in the striking surface of the club face. In another embodiment, correlated golf clubs are provided in which the club face is opened or closed relative to at least one other club within a set of golf clubs. The golf swing training device has a structure that is attached to the golf club and extends outward from the front of the golf club that makes the rotation of the golf club shaft and/or club face more visible to the golfer.

Improved perimeter weighted golf clubs are disclosed. The perimeter weighted golf clubs of the present invention are provided with improved structures for distributing the weight at the perimeter of the club head. In one embodiment, the club is an iron-type golf club having a club head that includes a weighted perimeter portion and a tubular frame that is located outboard of and behind at least a portion of the hitting surface.

Golf swing training devices are disclosed. The swing training devices can be used during practice, during play, or both. In one non-limiting embodiment, the swing training device can be used by the golfer to ensure that he or she stands the correct distance from the golf ball at address. In another non-limiting embodiment, the swing training device comprises an element that is sized and configured for making contact with at least a portion of a golfer's body during a golf swing to ensure that the golfer swings his or her arms properly on the backswing, the downswing, or both.

Improved perimeter weighted golf clubs are disclosed. The perimeter weighted golf clubs of the present invention are provided with improved structures for distributing the weight at the perimeter of the club head. In one embodiment, the club is an iron-type golf club having a club head that includes a weighted perimeter portion and at least one metal portion, such as a rib, on the back surface of the club head that extends from an upper portion of the club head toward at least a part of the weighted perimeter portion of the club head. In this embodiment, the at least one rib is oriented generally perpendicular to the upper edge portion of the club head. This embodiment of the club head also comprises at least two channel portions on the back surface of the club head that are disposed at least along the upper portion of the club head.

A sports glove, such as a golf glove, baseball batting glove, or other type of glove is disclosed. In one non-limiting embodiment, the sports glove has a fastener made of a breathable material. In another embodiment, the sports glove has a fastener with apertures therein. In another embodiment, the sports glove has a container joined thereto that can be used for storing the glove after use. In another embodiment, the sports glove is provided with one or more regions comprising extensible material. In another embodiment, the sports glove is provided with an extensible fastener. In some embodiments, any portion of the glove, such as the fingers and/or the palm and back of the glove, may be provided in a pre-formed curved configuration.

Improved perimeter weighted golf clubs are disclosed. The perimeter weighted golf clubs of the present invention are provided with improved structures for distributing the weight at the perimeter of the club head. In one embodiment, the club is an iron-type golf club having a club head that includes a weighted perimeter portion and at least two spaced apart ribs on the back surface of the club head that extend from an upper portion of the club head toward at least a part of the weighted perimeter portion of the club head and the ribs are oriented generally perpendicular to the upper edge portion of the club head. In one version of this embodiment, the ribs have at least one thinned region therebetween that is in the form of a channel on the back surface of the club head.

An improved aerodynamic golf club shaft is disclosed. The improved aerodynamic golf club shaft comprises a tube that has an exterior with a non-circular cross section. The golf club shaft may have an elliptical exterior cross section in one preferred embodiment. The golf club shaft has a leading edge that is on the half of the shaft aligned with the face of the golf club and a trailing edge on the half of the shaft aligned with the back of the club. A portion of the leading edge of the shaft has a smaller radius of curvature than the leading edge of a equivalently sized shaft having a circular cross section.

A releasable wrapper for absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, and adult incontinence devices, and the like which have side flaps is disclosed. The releasable wrapper covers the adhesive fasteners on the garment-facing side of the absorbent article and provides an individual package for the absorbent article.
