St. Augustinegrass plant 'MSA-31' is a new and distinct variety of perennial St. Augustinegrass cultivar, characterized by its short and narrow leaf blades, fine leaf texture, short internode length and diameter, and superior turf quality and particularly turf density when grown under shade or dense shade. 'MSA-31' is also distinguished by its genetic color and fall and winter color characteristics.

St. Augustinegrass plant 'Polaris' is a new and distinct variety of perennial St. Augustinegrass cultivar, characterized by its short and narrow leaf blades, fine leaf texture, short internode length and diameter, and superior cold tolerance and turf quality. 'Polaris' is also distinguished by its superior green plot and living ground cover characteristics.

The subject of the present disclosure is a new and distinct variety of bermudagrass, designated experiment number MSB40 and named 'MS-Supreme' and is characterized by its natural dark green color (7.5 GY 5/6, Munsell&copy; Color Charts) and enhanced dark green color (7.5 GY 4/6, Munsell&copy; Color Charts) during overcast weather and the fall season, ultra-dwarf leaf blade length (6 mm) and width (0.5 mm), highly prostrate growth habit, and affords excellent turfgrass putting green quality under putting green culture.

An improved Bermudagrass plant, having superior properties, suitable for a variety of turf applications, is disclosed. The Bermudagrass is characterized by a medium green color, high-head density, moderate seed-head density, fine-leaf texture, good fall color retention, average sod strength, excellent cold tolerance, good shade tolerance as compared to other Bermudagrasses, good dollar spot, and good leaf-spot resistance.

`MS-Express` Bermudagrass

An improved Bermudagrass plant, having superior properties, suitable for a variety of turf applications, is disclosed. The Bermudagrass is characterized by a medium to dark green color, short-head density, low seed-head density, fine-leaf texture, excellent fall color retention, excellent sod strength, average cold tolerance, good shape tolerance as compared to other Bermudagrasses, excellent dollar spot and leaf-spot resistance.
