A fused power cable assembly and method of integrating a protective device with a power source connector retaining bracket. A bracket assembly having a bulkhead retaining element, a protective device element, and a retaining element operable to couple the protective device to the bracket allows for mounting of protective device(s) to the bracket instead of the bulkhead, thereby saving space. A power cabling assembly having a bracket assembly, a power connector, and a fastening element operable to couple the power connector to the bulkhead and the bulkhead to the bracket assembly, allowing assembly of the power cabling assembly prior to installation into target equipment.

Power cabling assembly

A computer system uses a modular fan design. Multiple fan modules can be used, and identical fan modules can be used for directing air into and out of the computer system enclosure. Each fan module is hot swappable, and can be replaced quickly without the use of tools or fasteners. Optional mounting features on the fan and the computer enclosure prevent misassembly, and an optional color coding scheme aids in assembly. An optional splitting light pipe directs light from a single status-indicating source to both the front and back of the fan module.

Modular fan system

A detachable carry handle assembly contains a first segment and a second segment that are telescopically interfitted with one another. Sliding of the respective segments relative to one another selectively increases or decreases the overall length of the carry handle assembly, which may be manually manipulated into a plurality of overall length configurations. A spring biased barrel lock assembly may be used to fix the carry handle assembly into a predetermined overall length. The carry handle assemblies may contain rotating handles that to rotate out to a position of maximum width that facilitates lifting operations. Collapse of the handles to a position of minimum width facilitates stowage of the carry handle assemblies in a minimum space.

Removable lift handle panels

An electromagnetic enclosure is provided that includes an opening for allowing one or more cables to pass through. The opening is enclosed with a flexible cable shield that has an electrically conductive inner surface. To reduce electromagnetic interference, the flexible cable shield is adjustably closable to surround the one or more cables. With the present invention, shielding radiation around an opening in an enclosure and around any number of cables can be easily done.

A shielded cable assembly contains a hardpoint that resists damage arising from possible collapse of the shielded cable assembly under strong compressional forces that are exerted by a clamp assembly in the form of a separable block having first and second opposed members. The hardpoint contains a conduit that protects a data transfer line or cable bundle by compressing electromagnetic shielding between the conduit and the clamp assembly.

Clamp system for high speed cable termination

A spring-loaded backing plate assembly for use with a printed circuit board, an electrical connector, and a land grid array-type device. The assembly comprises a backing plate adapted to support the printed circuit board and one or more leaf springs. A retainer assembly holds the leaf springs in a preloaded state against the backing plate and transfers compressive force from the leaf springs to the printed circuit board, electrical connector, and land grid array-type device.
