A golf swing force shift indicator with a trail foot support includes both monolithic and detachable configurations to provide increased leverage and support to a golfer's trail foot during use of the golf swing force shift indicator. The golf swing force shift indicator includes a top face and a bottom face opposite the top face. The top face is where the golfer places their lead foot near a front face. The bottom face is configured to have various angular orientations during a golf swing. The trail foot support is disposed at a rear face opposite the front face. The trail foot support forms an upward incline relative to the top face where the golfer can place their trail foot on the trial foot support.

An arm position monitor is provided having a magnetically attractive object, a magnet-coupler connector and a magnet. The magnetically attractive object is adapted to connect to an arm of a user and the magnet is adapted to connect to the same arm or to the other arm via the magnet-coupler connector. When positioned adjacent to one another during a golf swing, the magnet and magnetically attractive object attach to one another. However, if the user's arm substantially deviates from an optimal arm position during the swing, the user applies a detachment force greater than the magnetic attraction force that detaches the magnet from the magnetically attractive object. The arm position monitor alerts the user when this occurs.

A golf training device is provided including a base plate having a putting channel. The device may also include a calibration plate having a calibration channel, a ball gate including first and second ball gate posts and/or a putter gate including first and second putter gate posts. The calibration plate is selectively attachable to the base plate with the calibration channel overlaying the putting channel. The ball gate has an adjustable ball gate width sufficient to allow a standard golf ball to pass therethrough and the putter gate has an adjustable putter gate width sufficient to allow a head of a putter to pass therethrough. The ball and putter gate widths are adjusted by rotating the first and/or second ball gate posts and the first and/or second putter gate posts, respectively.

A sand trap simulation pad is provided having a fluffy structure on its top surface made up of soft loose-ended hair-like fibers and having a high-friction material on its bottom surface. The pad is configured for use as a golf swing training device to practice hitting a golf ball out of a sand trap. Repetitive use of the pad teaches a user the optimal golf swing for properly hitting a golf ball out of a sand trap.

A device is provided that indicates to a user when the user has properly shifted a sufficient amount of his or her downward force to the trail foot and thereafter to the lead foot during the course of a golf swing, thereby effecting an optimal golf swing.

A swing training assembly includes a shuttle, a shuttle travel track, a tensioner, a shuttle displacement line and a shuttle pulley. The shuttle resides in the shuttle travel track and the shuttle pulley and shuttle displacement line are adapted to linearly displace the shuttle to different shuttle positions within the shuttle travel track in response to displacement forces applied to the shuttle pulley by a user pulling on the shuttle displacement line. The tensioner provides an opposing counter-force to control the rate of shuttle displacement. The swing training assembly may also include body positioning limits to maintain proper body alignment while the user pulls on the shuttle displacement line.
