Systems and techniques for information centric network (ICN) interworking are described herein. For example, a request may be received at a convergence layer of a node. Here, the request originates from an application on the node. A network protocol, from several available to the node, may be determined to transmit the request. The node then transmits the request via the selected network protocol.

Information centric network interworking techniques

Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for data management in a reverse content data network (rCDN). A component of the rCDN may include a memory to hold content received from a first sensor device of a plurality of sensor devices of the rCDN and first attributes that describe properties of the content. The component may include processing circuitry to receive second content from a second sensor device of the plurality of sensor devices, the second content including a plurality of second attributes that describe properties of the second content, and forward, in response to a determination, based on the first and second attributes, that there is insufficient space to store the second content on the memory, the second content to a node of the rCDN that is fewer hops away from a backend cloud than the component.

Data management in an edge network

Various systems and methods for Internet of Things (IoT) network sensor fusion are provided herein. A system for providing sensor collaboration includes: a sensor command circuit to access first-tier sensor data from a first-tier sensor associated with a user; a risk assessment circuit to use the first-tier sensor data to determine a risk rating, the risk rating representing a potential risk to the user; a user context circuit to determine a user context from the first-tier sensor data, wherein the user context circuit and the sensor command circuit are to selectively access second-tier sensor data from a second-tier sensor based on the user context; and a rule evaluation circuit to access a rule database to identify a rule corresponding to the risk rating and user context, and execute the rule when the rule is identified.

IoT sensor fusion

Techniques are provided for optimizing the operations of an ICN, particularly for an ICN with clustered nodes. A cluster head node may function as an orchestrator and a coordinator for efficient caching, routing, and computing and for co-existence of ICN and IP nodes in the network. A content store of an ICN router may include an indication of the time after which data expires and the new data is to be swapped in place of the expired data after that point in time. Digital rights management (DRM) enforcement is provided by managing access to a DRM engine in at least one of the ICN nodes in a cluster. Congestion control is provided by minimizing the number of ICN scoped interest requests and thereby minimizing the potentially high volume of data responses. These techniques optimize interest packet forwarding and processing through collaboration with neighboring ICN nodes.

Optimizing operations in ICN based networks

Systems and techniques for information centric network (ICN) high definition (HD) map distribution are described herein. For example, a vehicle may detect a map tile event (e.g., moving into an area for which the vehicle does not have an up-to-date map tile). The vehicle may transmit an interest packet a name for the map tile via an ICN and receiving the map tile in a data packet sent in response to the interest packet.

Various systems and methods for managing container and virtual machine locations for a cloud deployed service are described herein. A system includes a configuration generator to: obtain a plurality of constraints from a constraint database; generate a plurality of configuration plans, each of the plurality of configuration plans including the plurality of constraints, each of the plurality of constraints having a value selected from a range of permissible values for the respective constraint; and transmit the plurality of configuration plans to an orchestrator system, the orchestrator system to sequentially instantiate a cloud service based on multiple configuration plans of the plurality of configuration plans; and a performance evaluator to: measure a performance metric of the cloud service as instantiated by each of the multiple configuration plans; and coordinate with the orchestrator system to optimize the performance of the cloud service.

Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for managing content of an information centric network (ICN). A component of an ICN can include a memory including an extended content store that includes content from at least one other component of the ICN, and first attributes of the content, the first attributes including a content popularity value that indicates a number of requests for the content, and processing circuitry to increment the content popularity value in response to a transmission of a first content packet that includes the content, the first content packet transmitted in response to receiving an interest packet.

Data management in an information-centric network

An apparatus is described herein. The apparatus includes a secure enclave, and the secure enclave comprises a scanning mechanism and a reboot mechanism. The apparatus also includes a negotiation module, wherein the negotiation module is to negotiate a packet type and a payload for a reboot packet and in response to the scanning mechanism detecting the reboot packet the reboot mechanism is to reboot a computing device.

System and method for regaining operational control of compromised remote servers

System and techniques for distributed computing resources in an information centric network (ICN) are described herein. A request may be received at a node in the ICN. The request may include identification of a computing resource set and a timing threshold. Resources that correspond to a member of the computing resource set may be locked. The node may communicate a response to the request. The response may include an indication that performance of the member of the computing resource is possible and a time-period in which confirmation may be received.

Distributed computing resources in an information centric network

Technologies for user authorization include a compute device configured to determine one or more physical attributes of a non-electronic physical object and authorize a user to a protected system based on the determined physical attributes of the non-electronic physical object. The physical attributes may include, for example, an acoustic signature, a color signature, a shape signature, a weight signature, a position signature, or other physical attribute or set of physical attributes of the non-electronic physical object. The physical attributes may be sensed by various sensors of the compute device and compared to previously sensed or determined physical attributes to authorize the user to the protected system.

Technologies for authorizing a user to a protected system

The present application is directed to transparent execution of secret content. A device may be capable of downloading content that may include at least one secret portion, wherein any secret portions of the content may be directed to a secure workplace in the device not accessible to device operating system components, applications, users, etc. The device may then present the content in a manner that allows secret portions of the content to be executed without direct access. For example, the device may download content, and a director module in the device may direct any secret portions of the downloaded content to a secure workspace. During execution of the content, any inputs required by the secret portions may be provided to the secure workspace, and any resulting outputs from the secret portions may then be used during content presentation.

Transparent execution of secret content

A system and method provide for mapping a virtual core of a computing system to an external computing resource and intercepting an instruction directed from an application resident on the computing system to the virtual core. The intercepted instruction may be sent to the external computing resource for processing.
