A seat system may include a door and a locking mechanism. The door may be movable between an open position and a closed position. The seat system may include a seat mounted to the door and including a seat bottom that may be movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The seat system may further include a locking mechanism operatively coupled to the seat bottom and configured such that movement of the seat bottom from the stowed position to the deployed position when the door is in the closed position causes the locking mechanism to engage fixed door-frame structure located adjacent the door and to immobilize the door against movement from the closed position. Movement of the seat bottom from the deployed position to the stowed position may cause the locking mechanism to disengage from the fixed door-frame structure and to allow the door to be moved from the closed position.

Deployable door-mounted seat

A method and apparatus operating a moveable partition. The moveable partition is configured for use with a first lavatory and a second lavatory. The moveable partition is further configured to separate the first lavatory and the second lavatory into separate spaces within a fixed perimeter for the first lavatory and the second lavatory when the moveable partition is in a first configuration. The moveable partition is further configured to define a single space within the fixed perimeter when the moveable partition is in a second configuration. The moveable partition is connected to a door for the first lavatory in the second configuration.

Lavatory reconfiguration system

The disclosure provides for an aircraft video control station. In an embodiment, the aircraft video control station comprises a wall mounted control panel, a desktop, a seat that is stowed when not in use, and a cabinet that contains the wall mounted control panel, the desktop, and the seat. The cabinet may have a depth in the range of about 10 inches to about 37 inches, and preferably has a depth of 15 inches. The seat may be in the form of a swing out seat.

Aircraft video control station with stowable seat

A bi-directional cargo restraint (20) for restraining a cargo container (22) from movement across an interior surface of an aircraft. The cargo restraint having a frame (40) with an upper surface (60) positionable flush or below the surface of the aircraft, a first end (56), a second end (58), and an axis extending between the first and second ends. The cargo restraint also having a first stop member (42), a second stop member (44), and an abutment member (46) with a top portion (82) and a base portion (80). The top portion of the abutment member is movably mounted to the frame for movement of the abutment member between an extended position and a retracted position. The abutment member in the extended position capable of being toggled against either the first or second stop member. The first end of the abutment member having first and second restraining surfaces (84 and 86) on opposite sides of the first end. The abutment member in the extended position capable of being toggled between the first and second stop members to selectively permit either the first or second restraint surface of the abutment member to restrain the container at a predetermined restraint position.
