In certain embodiments, a Service Deployment Infrastructure (SDI) request engine is disclosed. The SDI request engine can perform tracking, management and provisioning of services subscribed to by users of a computer infrastructure system. The SDI request engine can be deployed to process large volumes of provisioning requests and deliver time critical applications for customers. The SDI request engine can translate each request into a list of tasks of various sizes based on the requirement and configuration of the request, and store each task in a queue. In certain embodiments, the SDI request engine may evaluate a dynamic weight associated with each task to prioritize the processing of tasks, which may improve the overall throughput of request processing.

Dynamic weighting for cloud-based provisioning systems

In certain embodiments, a Service Deployment Infrastructure (SDI) instance is disclosed. The SDI instance can intelligently allocate resources of a rack to one or more virtual machines as part of provisioning a requested service. The SDI instance can use machine-learning techniques to evaluate historical data associated with a requested service. The machine-learning techniques can be used to generate one or more models that simulate the possible configurations of sizes for virtual machines for a particular service. The one or more models can be accessed at runtime to fit virtual machines of a requested service into servers of a rack in a manner that minimizes unused resources with multi-dimensional constraints.

Enhancing resource allocation for application deployment

Embodiments of the invention relate techniques of implementing role-driven notification. The techniques can include determining a location of a role in a role hierarchy and a corresponding location of a first notification template in a notification template hierarchy. The techniques can also include identifying one or more child roles of the role corresponding to the user and one or more child notification templates of the notification template corresponding to the user. The techniques can include generating a second notification template, the second notification template including the one or more rules included in each of the one or more child notification templates and sending a notification for the user based on the second notification template.

Role-driven notification system including support for collapsing combinations

In certain embodiments, a Service Deployment Infrastructure (SDI) request engine is disclosed. The SDI request engine performs the tracking, management and provisioning of services subscribed to by customers of the cloud infrastructure system. The SDI request engine is deployed to process large volumes of provisioning requests and deliver time critical applications for customers. The SDI request engine translates each request into a list of tasks of various sizes based on the requirement and configuration of the request. In some embodiments, the SDI request engine imposes control and management on both request and task levels in order to execute, rollback, retry or fail a task automatically and accurately.

Service deployment infrastructure request provisioning

A cloud infrastructure system includes one or more computing devices and is configured to receive subscription order information related to one or more services subscribed to by a customer of the cloud infrastructure system, the service selected from one or more services provided by the cloud infrastructure system. The cloud infrastructure system receives a set of one or more mapping rules configured to map business attributes to resource provisioning information for one or more of the one or more services provided by the cloud infrastructure system. The cloud infrastructure system determines whether one or more business attributes in the subscription order information satisfy one or more mapping rules in the set of mapping rules and generates resource provisioning information for one or more resources associated with the one or more services based on resource provisioning information in the one or more mapping rules satisfied by the one or more business attributes in the subscription order information.

Business attribute driven sizing algorithms

Embodiments of the invention relate to a method of implementing role-driven notification. The method includes storing, by a cloud infrastructure system including computing devices, notification templates. Each of the notification templates are associated with a role. The method further includes determining that a user is associated with a first role and a second role, determining that the first role is associated with a first notification template and the second role is associated with a second notification template. Further, the method includes combining the first template and the second template to generate a third template, based on the third template, generating a notification. The method then, sends the notification to the user.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to systems and methods for providing archival support for one or more services provided by a cloud infrastructure system. One such method comprises receiving a message corresponding to an archive trigger event, and determining based on the message one or more services subscribed to by a customer of a cloud infrastructure system which are to be archived. The method further comprises sending an instruction to the one or more services to archive customer information, and storing each archive in an archive directory accessible to the customer.

Service archive support

A method for POD provisioning and service provisioning is disclosed. The method may comprise storing, by a cloud infrastructure system, subscription order information from a customer identifying a service from a set of cloud services provided by the cloud infrastructure system, the cloud infrastructure system comprising one or more computing devices, wherein the subscription order information includes customer-specific configuration. Additionally, the method may comprise determining, by a computing device from the one or more computing devices, a service associated with the subscription order information. Moreover, the method may comprise mapping a pre-provisioned anonymous deployment to the subscription order information, wherein the pre-provisioned anonymous deployment is specifically pre-provisioned for the determined service. Furthermore, the method may comprise creating, by a computing device from the one or more computing devices, a service instance specifically for the customer by configuring the pre-provisioned anonymous deployment with the customer-specific configuration.

Separation of pod provisioning and service provisioning

Enabling associations between cloud services in a computer network cloud infrastructure system is described. Cloud services can include infrastructure as a service (IAAS) storage and processing services, platform as a service (PAAS) database and Java services, and software as a service (SAAS) customer resource management services. Associations between the services can include automatically sharing security certificate-based keys and tokens or otherwise sharing data. Upon subscribing to a cloud system through an automated system, a user is prompted to select allowable associations between the selected services. The services are then provisioned and the user-selected associations are enabled.

Service association model

A system and method for facilitating annotation of a document co-browsed by multiple attendees of a collaboration session. A co-browsed page is served to the attendees by a collaboration server. An attendee (e.g., the host) annotates the page by highlighting a portion, placing or moving a pointer, scrolling the page within a window, or taking some other action. A collaboration applet operating in conjunction with the attendee's browser notes the position of the annotation (and size of annotation if it involves highlighting) and normalizes that position relative to the page. The collaboration applet then transmits an annotation event to the collaboration server, with the normalized position. The event is forwarded to other attendees, where the annotation is recreated.

System and method for real-time annotation of a co-browsed document

A system and method for facilitating the collaborative co-browsing of a document or web page. A collaboration server retrieves content of a page on behalf of a collaboration participant or attendee. Each attendee operates or views the content with a browser that is augmented with a collaboration applet. Tags, links, script code and other references that may cause a different page to be accessed or loaded fro the current page are transformed or replaced on the server before the page is distributed to the attendees. In particular, events and redirections that may cause the attendee browser to directly navigate to another page are transformed on the server. Pre-determined rules may be applied to prevent some attendees from viewing certain content (e.g., financial or personal data). A page may be further transformed at a client browser, to redirect a hyperlink to the collaboration server or to trap some other event.
