A method for surgically treating a spine comprising the steps of: pre-operatively imaging vertebral tissue; displaying a first image of a surgical treatment configuration for the vertebral tissue from a mixed reality display and/or a second image of a surgical strategy for implementing the surgical treatment configuration with the vertebral tissue from the mixed reality display; determining a surgical plan for implementing the surgical strategy; and intra-operatively displaying a third image of the surgical plan with the vertebral tissue from the mixed reality display. Systems, spinal constructs, implants and surgical instruments are disclosed.

Spinal surgery system and methods of use

A bone screw has a first portion including a head. A second portion includes a threaded shaft having a length and a major diameter. Systems, devices, and methods for surgical navigation with anatomical tracking

A bone screw including a head portion, a neck portion, and a shaft portion is provided. The shaft portion includes a first end, an opposite second end, a helical thread form, and a shank. The first end of the shaft portion is attached to the neck portion, and the helical thread form extends around the shank between the first end and the second end. The thread form terminates at a thread-termination surface adjacent the first end of the shaft portion, where the thread-termination surface affords an abrupt transition into the shank.

The contact pin is formed as a leaf spring resiliently biased in a first position that affords generation of spring force via deformation thereof, and the contact pin acts as a tensioner to ultimately press against a head portion of the screw to aid movement prevention of the head portion relative to the receiver.
