A method, system, device, or apparatus for notifying a device of a greater number of safety events associated with the first user. The method includes retrieving safety events associated with a first user of a first electronic device and determining a frequency of safety events. The method includes retrieving safety events associated with a second user of a second electronic device and determining a frequency of safety events. The method includes comparing the frequency of safety events associated with the first user and the number of safety events associated with the second user and determining that there is a greater frequency of safety events associated with the first user than with the second user for the period of time. The method includes determining a cause of the greater frequency of safety events associated with the first user.

Medical measurement data can be received at the wearable medical device from a medical measurement sensor attached to the wearable medical device or a medical measurement sensor in communication with the wearable medical device. A calibration coefficient can be determined for calibrating the wearable medical device based on the medical measurement data. The wearable medical device can be calibrated based on the calibration coefficient.

Optical sensor for wearable devices

An electronic device is described herein that may include various components, including a band, a physiological sensor, a feedback sensor, a processor, a display, or a power source. The band may be shaped to fit around at least a portion of a body part of a user. The physiological sensor may include two separated by a fixed distance such that at least a portion of a signal transmitted by a first sensor is transmitted through a muscular-walled tube of the body part before being received by a second sensor. The processor may be operable to determine a physiological condition based on the signal received by the second physiological sensor. The physiological sensor may be embedded in the band. The band may be comprised of a flexible material. The feedback sensor may measure a pressure at which the band is held against the body part.

A method, system, apparatus, and/or device that may include: a housing, a sensor interface, and a processing device. The housing may be shaped to be affixed to a body of a user and may include an inner cavity that houses electronic components and an impedance sensor. The impedance sensor may include a first contact terminal and a second contact terminal. The sensor interface may be configured to: generate an electric signal; receive the electric signal through a skin layer below a surface of the body of the user; and determine an impedance measurement between the first contact terminal and the second contact terminal based on the electric signal. Described herein are apparatuses and methods for measuring stress with a wearable device. In one apparatus, a wearable device includes a housing formed and shaped to affix to a user, a sensor integrated into the housing operable to engage a body of the user to take physiological measurements of the user over a threshold period of time to obtain physiological data, and a processing device coupled to the sensor. The processing device may be operable to receive, from the sensor, a first physiological data; receive, from the sensor, a second physiological data; determine a correlation between the first physiological data and the second physiological data; and determine a stress level of a bodily system of the user based on the correlation.

The methods, systems, apparatuses, and/or devices may include a first sensor configured to measure a first physiological characteristic of a user to obtain a first set of physiological data for a physiological condition. The methods, systems, apparatuses, and/or devices may include a processing device configured to: receive a second set of physiological data for the physiological condition; determine a unique physiological characteristic of the user based on the second set of physiological data; determine a unique baseline for the unique physiological characteristic of the user based on the second set of physiological data; determine a relative physiological measurement for the physiological condition based on the first set of physiological data; and provide an alert to the user or a third party.

A technology for a swappable wearable device that is operable to monitor one or more physiological parameters of a user. Physiological measurement data from a physiological measurement sensor attached to the swappable wearable device or a physiological measurement sensor in communication with the swappable wearable device can be received at the swappable wearable device. The physiological measurement data can be stored on a non-transitory computer readable medium coupled to swappable wearable device. The stored physiological measurement data can be communicated to another swappable wearable device or a synchronization platform when a selected event occurs.

A method and a device to determine a hydration condition is disclosed. The wearable device may have a top wall, a bottom wall, and a perimeter wall that form an inner cavity. The external surface of the bottom wall may have a projection and an inner surface of the bottom wall may have a channel. A circuit board may have a first portion in the channel, a second portion that extends through a first side wall of the channel to a first recess in the external surface of the bottom wall, and a third portion that extends through a second side wall of the channel to a second recess in the external surface of the bottom wall. A first impedance pad may be on the second portion in the first recess and a second impedance pad may be on the third portion in the second recess.
