A door security assembly for blockading a door in a lockdown situation includes a blockade device. An element of the blockade device insertable into a gap defined by a door and a crash bar that is engaged to the door. Each of a pair of fasteners engaged to the blockade device is selectively engageable the crash bar, so that the blockade device is reversibly engaged to the crash bar with the element positioned in the gap. The blockade device prevents actuation of the crash bar so that the door cannot be opened. The fasteners are positioned so that two hands are required to simultaneously disengage the fasteners from the crash bar to enable disengagement of the blockade device from the crash bar.

Door security assembly

A method of transporting a RapidIO packet () from an initiator RapidIO domain () over an IP packet network () to a receiver RapidIO domain () can include the initiator RapidIO domain creating the RapidIO packet and reading a destination domain ID () of the RapidIO packet, where the destination domain ID corresponds to the receiver RapidIO domain. A payload module power connector () includes a plurality of pins (), where at least one of the plurality of pins has a length different from a remaining portion of the plurality of pins such that power between a main power bus () on the backplane and a payload module power bus () on the payload module is at least one of applied and removed, in a smooth and gradually ramped fashion over a time period (), where power and any concurrent data operations on the backplane remain uninterrupted and unaffected during the at least one of applying and removing power between the main power bus and the payload module power bus.

A multi-service platform system () includes a computer chassis () having a plurality of 3U slots (), a backplane () integrated in the computer chassis, a switched fabric () on the backplane. 3U payload module configurations

A method of performing a VMEbus split-read transaction () includes providing a master VMEbus module () coupled to a slave VMEbus module () through a VMEbus network (). The master VMEbus module initiates a VMEbus split-read transaction request () in a VME address encoding phase () to the slave VMEbus module, where the VMEbus split-read transaction request comprises a return address () for the VMEbus master module in the VMEbus address encoding phase, and where the VMEbus split-read transaction request requests a set of data (). The master VMEbus module releases the VMEbus network and the slave VMEbus module acquires the VMEbus network. The slave VMEbus module places the set of data on the VMEbus network, where the set of data comprises the return address for the VMEbus master module, and the master VMEbus module retrieves the set of data.

The master VMEbus module releases the VMEbus network and the slave VMEbus module acquires the VMEbus network. The slave VMEbus module places the set of data on the VMEbus network, wherein the set of data includes the tag identifier. The master VMEbus module correlates the tag identifier to the split-transaction request and the master VMEbus module retrieves the set of data.
