A deployable air dam for an automotive vehicle has panel, a plurality of four-bar linkages coupling the panel to a front of the vehicle, and an electric clutched actuator coupled to the four-bar linkages for moving the panel of the air-dam between a deployed and an undeployed position wherein the panel extends vertically down from a bottom of a bumper of the vehicle when in the deployed position.

Deployable air dam

An apparatus for mounting a license plate to a motor vehicle having a spare tire mounted to a rear panel. The apparatus includes a mounting portion, a display portion and a latch assembly. The mounting portion is adapted to be pivotally interconnected to the motor vehicle for rotation about a pivot axis to selectively provide access to the spare tire. The display portion is carried by the mounting portion and is adapted to be oriented in a substantially vertical plane and spaced apart from a rear surface of the motor vehicle such that the spare tire is mounted to the motor vehicle interbetween the rear surface and the display portion. The latch assembly is operative for releasing/engaging a striker interconnected to the rear panel. The latch assembly is attached to the display portion.

Spare tire license plate mounting system for a motor vehicle

A table apparatus for a motor vehicle is provided. The table apparatus includes a table structure that is pivotally attached to the exterior of the vehicle. The table structure includes a top surface, a bottom surface, an upper edge and a lower edge. The table structure is pivotable from a first storage position to a second horizontal position substantially perpendicular to the exterior of the vehicle. The table structure includes a plurality of panels that are telescopically extendable from one another in a direction away from and substantially perpendicular to the vehicle exterior while the table structure is in the second position. The table structure is pivotable about its upper edge and supported in its second position by a rod that is selectively disposed between the cover and one of said plurality of panels. In a second embodiment, the table structure is pivotable about its lower edge and supported by a tether that interconnects the cover and the table structure while the table structure is in its second position.

Vehicle table apparatus

A tool for aligning a striker with a latch for a door on a motor vehicle includes a base member and a striker setter positioned perpendicular to an end of the base member. The tool also includes a suction cup for holding the tool onto the vehicle, and a latch setter extending outwardly from an end of the base member. The alignment tool further includes a striker lead-in at one end of the striker setter for positioning the striker relative to the latch.
