A personal medication in storage dispensing unit is provided for receiving and storing medication, vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, pills capsules, gel tablets and the like in a manner which is easily accessible and which is conducive to inclusion within a medication regimen system. A medication regimen monitor can be included in this system in order to be programmed to signal proper medication dosage times. The monitor preferably provides non-compliance information, preferably information which persists and which designates which portion of the medication regimen was not complied with. The system also can include a holder for multiple storing and dispensing units in an ordered fashion consistent with daily requirements of the medication regimen.

Task light units provide indirect lighting for task areas in front of computer monitors and other devices having display screens. Light is directed generally upwardly such that at least a portion of the light impinges upon a visor which is generally above the source of light. The visor reflects the light downwardly and generally forwardly toward a work or task area in order to indirectly illuminate that area. The task light components do not impart any direct light onto the display screen. Glare emanating from the task light is avoided, and eye strain is significantly reduced.

An injectable medication carrying case is disclosed which includes a top panel, a bottom panel opposing the top panel, two opposing side panels, two opposing end panels, and a thermally-insulating divider panel. The top panel, bottom panel, side panels and end panels can be joined together in standard fashion at respective edges of the carrying case. The divider panel partitions the body portion of the case into two distinct thermally-insulated sides. In this arrangement, the patient is able to selectively store his injectable medication supplies in a unitary carrying case, as opposed to a plurality of carrying cases.

A contact lens carrying case is disclosed which includes a top panel, a bottom panel, two opposing side panels, two opposing end panels, and an intermediate panel. The top panel, bottom panel, side panels and end panels are joined together in standard fashion at respective edges of the carrying case. The intermediate panel is hingedly connected with one of the case's two opposing side panels. A first set of contact lens storage compartments is found on the underside of the top panel. A second set of similar storage compartments is found on the underside of the intermediate panel. In this arrangement, the carrying case is able to selectively store, display and separate both right-eye prescription contact lenses and left-eye prescription contact lenses in a convenient and attractive manner.

A system is provided for encouraging proper timing compliance with breast examination guidelines that breast examination be conducted at a given time within the menstrual cycle of the user, typically a set number of days after onset of the menstrual cycle. A device is included which provides prompt signals at the appropriate timing during each cycle and which prompt persists until compliance is indicated. Provision is made for adjusting the cycle to comply with the expected length of the menstrual cycle of the particular woman and in order to adjust same to account for irregularities in menstrual cycles for each specific woman.
