A device in an evolved packet core (EPC) which includes a processor and a memory. The processor effectuates operations including receiving from one or more devices residing within a customer premise equipment (CPE) portion of a telecommunications network, sensor data associated with one or more customers and in response to receiving the sensor data, generating a data request for an ecosystem status for the CPE portion of the telecommunications network. The processor further effectuates operations including obtaining customer information for the one or more customers and creating an analytics environment, using the customer information, for the one or more customers. The processor further effectuates operations including performing, within the analytics environment, analytics on the sensor data to determine a state of the CPE portion of the telecommunications network for the one or more customers and in response to performing analytics on the sensor data, optimizing the telecommunications network.

Software defined network lifecycle tracking and management

Management of immersive reality devices via a reduced competition core network component is disclosed. The reduced competition core network component can preferentially be reserved for immersive reality device data and can therefore exclude some or all other types of data typically associated with conventional wireless network devices, e.g., phone, tablet/laptop computers, IoT devices, etc. This can result in immersive reality data communication that does not have to compete with more generic data types for network or computing resources. Additionally, the reduced competition core network component can be divided into at least one reduced competition user-plane network component and at least one reduced competition control-plane network component. Use of a reduced competition user-plane network component can avoid generating additional carrier network traffic. Further, a reduced competition user-plane network component can facilitate non-carrier entity authentication, security protocols, etc. Hierarchical network component topology can enable rule-based access to computing and network resources.

A biometric authentication system is disclosed that provides authentication capability using biometric data in connection with a challenge for parties engaging in digital communications such as digital text-oriented, interactive digital communications. End-user systems may be coupled to devices that include biometric data capture devices such as retina scanners, fingerprint recorders, cameras, microphones, ear scanners, DNA profilers, etc., so that biometric data of a communicating party may be captured and used for authentication purposes.

Identity challenges

A cloud traffic migration system may be used to counter suspected harmful traffic. For example, a virtual machine (VM) may have a separate security and networking policy called a VM shell. The VM shell may be placed at the VM's interface as a layer of protection. When suspected harmful traffic is detected inside the VM, multiple mini VMs may be created that replicate some functions of the infected VM and the traffic may be grouped and segregated into categories. Each category of traffic may be routed to a mini VM for further analysis. Any traffic confirmed to be harmful may be kept inside the mini VM and subject to restrictive rules. Such restrictive rules may introduce delays to waste the attackers time or resources as well as obtain data for threat analytics.
