A server may receive a query from a query device. The query may include an identifier that identifies a user device, information regarding a geographic radius, and information regarding a geographic position. The server may determine a first proximity area based on the geographic radius and the geographic position indicated by the query. The server may determine a second proximity area that represents an area in which the user device may be included. The server may determine a value that indicates a likelihood that the first proximity area is within the second proximity area. The server may provide information to the query device indicating the value.

Privacy-based device location proximity

An approach for multi-sensor multi-factor identity verification. An identity verification platform determines biometric data associated with a user from one or more sources. The one or more sources are associated with one or more respective network sessions. The platform generates one or more respective trust scores for the one or more sources, the one or more respective network sessions, or a combination thereof based on one or more contextual parameters associated with the user, the one or more sources, the one or more respective network sessions, or a combination thereof. Then the platform verifies an identity of the user based on the biometric data and the one or more respective trust scores.

Method and apparatus for providing multi-sensor multi-factor identity verification

A device may receive, from a first peer in a network, a request for a list of one or more candidate peers from which the first peer can obtain a resource. In addition, the device may obtain the list in response to the request, determining a set of costs based on the list, and refine the list to obtain a subset list of the candidate peers based on the set of costs. Furthermore, the device may send to, the first peer, the subset list of the candidate peers from which the first peer can obtain the resource.

A data store includes previously collected client data records, each previously collected client data record associated with a respective first network address. A verification module is communicatively coupled to the data store, the module configured to determine that it is a competent verification module and to receive a verification request including user data and a second network address and further configured to respond with an indication of whether the user data corresponds to the previously collected client data record identified by the first network address corresponding to the second network address.

Network service provider-assisted authentication

A system and method for providing latency signatures including a transmitter to transmit a request for one or more latency signatures from one or more servers, a receiver to receive one or more latency signatures from the one or more servers based on the request, and one or more processors to compare the one or more latency signatures in the event there is more than one latency signature for determining optimum connectivity between the one or more clients. The one or more latency signatures provides positioning information of one or more clients relative to the one or more servers in a network.
