A machine a mandrel assembly includes a mandrel having an external shape complimentary to an internal shape of at least a portion of a container, a first lift mechanism operatively coupled to a first servomechanism to wrap a first portion of a blank about the mandrel, a second lift mechanism operatively coupled to a second servomechanism to wrap a second portion of the blank about the mandrel, and a folding arm coupled to the first lift mechanism and operatively coupled to a third servomechanism. A control system is in communication with the first servomechanism, the second servomechanism, and the third servomechanism and is configured to transmit a signal to each of the servomechanisms to independently control movement of the first lift mechanism, the second lift mechanism, and the folding arm to wrap at least the first and second portions of the blank about the mandrel to form the container.

Methods and a machine for forming a container from a blank

A display system for containing and displaying product includes a tray portion and a hood portion. The tray portion includes a bottom panel, and the hood portion includes a top panel and at least one glue flap panel disposed adjacent to the top panel. The display system is convertible from a shipping configuration in which the tray and hood portions cooperate to form an enclosed carton, into a display configuration in which the hood portion is separated completely from the tray portion. The display system is configured to be transitioned from the shipping configuration to the display configuration by breaking an adhesive connection between the at least one glue flap panel and the tray portion and lifting the hood portion away from the tray portion.

Shelf-ready wrap-around shipper display system

A container assembly is provided. The container assembly includes a container formed from a first blank of sheet material. The container includes a bottom wall and a plurality of sides extending upwardly from the bottom wall such for defining a cavity therein. Each side includes an inner surface that extends between a bottom edge positioned between the bottom wall and a top edge. Each inner surface includes a height that is measured between the top edge and the bottom edge. At least one support assembly formed from a second blank of sheet material is positioned within the cavity. The support assembly includes a back panel assembly that is coupled to the inner surface of one of the plurality of sides. An extension assembly extends outwardly from the back panel assembly.
