A compressor valve may include a guard and a seat affixed thereto. The seat may have an inlet surface and an outlet surface opposite the inlet surface. A reconditioning limit indicator may be defined by or adjacent the outlet surface. The reconditioning limit indicator may be indicative of a maximum amount of material of the seat removable from the outlet surface during reconditioning of the seat. The reconditioning limit indicator may be a groove defined by the outer cylindrical surface of the seat, a portion of the outer cylindrical surface of the seat adjacent the outlet surface and having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the seat, or a predetermined shape of a predetermined depth machined on the outlet surface of the seat.

An electrical connector is provided. The electrical connector includes a substrate and an elastomeric element extending outwardly from the substrate. The elastomeric element extends outwardly from a base portion thereof at the substrate to an end portion thereof that is opposite the base portion. An electrical contact engages an electrically conductive element of the substrate. The electrical contact has a portion extending over at least a portion of the end portion of the elastomeric element.

An electrical connector assembly is provided. The electrical connector assembly includes a housing including a body fabricated at least partially from a dielectric material. The housing body has an opening therein. An electrical contact is held by the housing. The electrical contact includes an intermediate portion and a spring potion each held at least partially within the opening. The spring portion of the electrical contact is engaged by the housing body such that the spring portion is deflected into shorting engagement with the intermediate portion of the electrical contact.

A socket connector includes an insulative carrier having opposite first and second sides and a plurality of vias extending between the first and second sides. A plurality of polymer columns is held by the carrier. Each polymer column includes a first end extending from the first side of the carrier and a second end extending from the second side of the carrier. A contact array is disposed on each first and second side of the carrier. Each contact array comprises a flexible sheet having a plurality of conductive elements having contact tips proximate corresponding first and second ends of the polymer columns. The conductive elements on the first side of the carrier are electrically connected to corresponding conductive elements on the second side of the carrier through the vias in the carrier to establish electrical paths between corresponding contact tips on the first and second sides of the carrier.

Connector with dual compression polymer and flexible contact array

A card edge connector including a housing and a pair of extractors is disclosed for electrically connecting a first PCB such as a daughter card to a second PCB such as a motherboard. The extractors both secure and eject the daughter card from the connector. The extractors may be configured to reduce micro-motion of the daughter card by applying a vertical downward force thereto.

An interconnect member for socket connector includes a carrier having opposite first and second sides. A plurality of polymer columns are held in the carrier. Each polymer column includes a first end extending from the first side of the carrier and a second end extending from the second side of the carrier. A contact array includes a plurality of electrical contacts held in the carrier. Each of the plurality of contacts includes a body that extends through the carrier and opposite end portions positioned to engage respective first and second ends of the polymer columns. Each end portion includes a contact tip configured to electrically engage a contact pad on one of a circuit board and an electronic package. The polymer columns simultaneously provide a predetermined normal force to establish reliable electrical connectivity between the circuit board and the electronic package and a predetermined working range for the interconnect member.

High density flexible socket interconnect system

A socket connector for connecting module card to a circuit board includes a housing extending along a longitudinal axis between opposed ends. The housing includes a mounting face configured for mounting on the circuit board and a slot configured to receive a mating edge of the module card. The slot has a bottom surface that defines a seating plane for the mating edge of the module card. An extractor is pivotably connected to at least one of the opposed ends. The extractor includes a foot having a card engagement surface that is relatively higher than the bottom surface when the extractor is in a closed position.

A socket connector for connecting a card edge module to a circuit board includes a housing extending along a longitudinal axis between opposed ends. The housing includes a mounting face configured to be received on the circuit board and a slot configured to receive a mating edge of the card edge module. A latch member is pivotably connected to the housing. The latch member is movable between an open position and a closed position. A locking member is positioned on the latch member and configured to prevent movement of the latch member from the closed position to the open position.

A socket connector includes a housing extending along a longitudinal axis between opposed ends. The housing includes a mounting face configured to be received on the circuit board and a slot configured to receive the mating edge of the card edge module. A latch member is pivotably connected to the housing. The latch member is movable between an open position and a closed position. A biasing member is connected between the housing and the latch member. The biasing member biases the latch member toward the closed position.

A socket connector for connecting a card edge module to a circuit board includes a base extending along a longitudinal axis between opposed ends. The base includes a mounting face configured to be received on the circuit board. Support towers are integrally formed with the base and located at the opposed ends of the base. The support towers extend upward from the base away from the mounting face. Each of the base and the towers includes open sided mating surfaces that collectively define a mating plane. The open sided mating surfaces are configured to receive the card edge module from a lateral direction with respect to the mating plane when the card edge module is loaded into the connector. Electrical contacts are held in the base. The contacts have mating ends extending laterally from the open-sided mating surface of the base. The contacts have mounting ends that extend from the mounting face.
