A method for supplementing new antibody or adding additional titer of an already present antibody into the circulating system in a newborn by feeding antibody to the newborn within the first few days of its life. The antibody is preferably obtained from the egg of an immunized mother and fed to the newborn within the first 24 hours of its life.

The invention is directed to a composition and method for the treatment and prevention of inflammation and inflammatory related disorders. The composition is glucosamine in combination with an egg product. It is generally preferred that the egg product is obtained from an avian which has been hyperimmunized with an immungenic mixture and/or which contains an anti-inflammatory composition.

The invention relates to blending eggs from all egg lots produced over a predetermined time period of the egg laying cycle of immunized avians, to form an antibody-containing substance. The administration of an effective amount of such a blended antibody-containing substance to a subject increases the efficacy of the antibody in the subject over that of administering a substance containing the same amount of antibody obtained from eggs collected over less than the predetermined period of time.

The invention is directed to a method and food product for achieving at least one of the following: increasing muscle protein or reducing fat in an animal. The method comprises administering to the animal an effective amount of a composition comprising a gastrointestinal neuro-modulator antibody in order to neutralize the gastrointestinal neuro-modulator.
