A process for providing relevant video content to members of a communication group. When a triggering event to provide video content to a plurality of members of a communication group is detected, an electronic computing device assigns a reviewer rank to each one of the plurality of members of the communication group based on a user context associated with the respective members. The device then selects a member with the assigned reviewer rank higher than the respectively assigned reviewer ranks of other members and further transmits a notification to the member requesting permission to provide the video content to the members of the communication group. When a response indicating permission is received from the communication device associated with the selected member, the device provides the video content to the members associated with the communication group.

Device and method for providing relevant video content to members of a communication group

Systems and methods for electronic fobs that communicate via short range communications protocols to conduct transactions with a nearby device are provided. Such electronic fobs may use electronic tokens to conduct electronic transactions, such as payment transactions. Account data may be stored within a secure element of the electronic fob. Electronic tokens may also be stored by the secure element. Using such data and/or tokens, electronic fob may write electronic tokens to be used in electronic transactions. Also, such electronic fobs may also be used to perform other tasks and interface with other devices.

Disclosed herein is a customized ossicular prosthesis suitable for treatment of conductive hearing loss due to ossicular chain defects, and a method and system for manufacturing the same. Medical imaging equipment can detect specifically designated landmarks in normal human middle ear ossicles, including significant anatomic differences in those structures. Those anatomic features are used to generate a customized ossicular prosthesis specifically configured for a particular patient's anatomy using 3D printing techniques and devices.

Coating and curing apparatus and methods

An optical probe for use in infrared, near infrared, Raman, and other spectrometers includes a probe outer surface with a cavity defined therein. The probe emits light into a sample via emission locations on the probe outer surface, at least one being in the cavity. The light emitted into the sample is then collected at collection locations which include at least two of (a) a reflectance collection location situated on the probe outer surface for collecting diffusely reflected light from any adjacent sample; (b) a transmittance collection location situated in the cavity and receiving light transmitted across the cavity from an emission location situated on an opposite side of the cavity; and (c) a transflectance collection location situated in the cavity and receiving transflected light emitted from an emission location in the cavity, with such light being reflected from a side of the cavity opposite the transflectance collection location.

A rugged flexible hollow-fiber waveguide that permits preservation of good transverse spatial coherence of input infrared laser radiation and that transmits substantial power of such radiation, with low attenuation. The present invention preferably comprises a small-diameter thin-wall silica-glass tube; a protective coating on the outer surface of the tube; a sufficient reflective layer on the inner surface of the tube; and a thickness, optimal for the wavelength(s) of interest, of dielectric on the exposed surface of the reflective layer. Terracotta pot insert

A drain insert for a plant container having a vertically disposed drain hole in the bottom portion thereof which permits proper drainage of excess fluids through the drain hole, while substantially eliminating the loss of potting medium through the drain hole. The drain insert includes a low profile body member having a plurality of first fluid flow passageways extending therethrough and a plurality of stabilizer members extending from the body member and positionable with the drain hole so that the body member is stabilized in a covering position a preselected distance above the drain hole. The stabilizer members cooperate to define a second fluid flow passageway having a substantially vertically disposed first portion and a plurality of substantially horizontally disposed second portions. The first and second portions of the second fluid flow passageway openly communicate so that fluid communication is established between the second fluid flow passageway and the first fluid flow passageways and fluid passing to the bottom portion of the container is discharged into the drain hole.
