A screen assembly comprising: a plate comprising: a center portion with a plurality of apertures, a first end having a first series of finger-receiving apertures, a second end having a second series of finger-receiving apertures, wherein the first and second ends of the plate extend to cover the first and second series of finger-receiving apertures; and a screen covering the plurality of apertures.

A method for making a screen assembly for a vibratory separator, which, in certain aspects, includes placing a first layer of screening material below a glue application apparatus, and applying with the glue apparatus an amount of glue in a pattern to a portion of the first layer of screening material, unrolling part of a second layer from a second roll and positioning the part of the second layer adjacent part of the first layer to which glue has been applied, moving the part of the second layer and the part of the first layer between opposed rotatable spaced-apart rollers to press together the part of the second layer and the part of the first layer to form a pressed-together layer of first and second layers of screening material. In certain aspects hot glue is used and is cooled following application of the second layer on the first layer.

Method for making vibratory separator screens

A unibody structure for a screen assembly for a vibratory separator, and screens with such a structure, the unibody structure having, in certain aspects, an integral body member with a portion having a plurality of spaced-apart openings therethrough, the integral body member including side portions foldable to form a pair of spaced-apart integral side members, the integral body member having a plurality of spaced-apart support openings defining portions of the integral body member foldable to form a plurality of spaced-apart supports extending from a first side of the integral body member to a second side thereof and each support of the plurality of spaced-apart supports independent of each other support of the plurality of spaced-apart supports along its length.

Unibody structure for screen assembly

A method for making a screen for a vibratory separator, the method including placing at least one layer of screening material below a glue application apparatus, the glue application apparatus including a main body and a plurality of movable glue nozzles movably connected to the body, applying with the movable glue nozzles an amount of glue, in a pattern to at least a portion of the at least one layer of screening material by moving the movable glue nozzles over the at least one layer of screening material. The method wherein the glue application apparatus includes at least one stationary glue nozzle secured immovably to the main body, the method including applying at least one shearable glue bead having a length to the screening material so that shearing the screening material along the length of the at least one shearable glue bead produces separate sections of the screening material.

Glue pattern screens and methods of production

A screen assembly for a vibratory separator, the screen assembly including a first screen assembly, a frame to which is mounted screening material, at least one seal member on the frame for sealing contact against a second screen assembly. Seal screen structure

A screen assembly which, in at least certain aspects, has at least one wire mesh screen formed with undulating mesh material having a series of ridges spaced apart by a series of valleys, a corrugated perforated plate with an undulating shape corresponding to the undulating mesh material of the at least one wire mesh screen, the at least one wire mesh screen on the corrugated perforated plate, a series of spaced apart rods all of which are in one plane, the corrugated perforated plate mounted on the rods of the series of spaced apart rods, and each rod having a length and independent of and not connected to the other rods along its length by any member in the same plane as the rods, each rod having two spaced apart ends.

Shaker screens and methods of use

A unibody structure for a screen assembly for a vibratory separator, and screens with such a structure, the unibody structure having, in certain aspects, an integral body member with a plurality of spaced-apart openings therethrough for sealingly abutting the shoulder support portion of an end of an adjacent screen defining fluid flow paths for screening and/or defining a plurality of spaced-apart supports for screening material, and the integral body member including side portions foldable to form one or two pairs of spaced-apart integral side members and/or the integral body member including two end portions foldable to form a pair of spaced-apart integral end members and/or a pair of spaced-apart ends. In certain aspects one of a pair of spaced-apart end portions is configured with a shoulder support portion and another end with a ledge portion.

Unibody screen structure

A screen assembly for a vibratory separator has been invented, which, in certain aspects, has at least two ridge-valley series of screening material with a plurality of alternating ridges and valleys of screening material, and at least one flat area of screening material adjacent at least one of the ridge-valley series.

Vibratory separator screen assemblies

A screen assembly for a vibratory separator has been invented, the screen assembly, in certain aspects, having a panel with two connected pairs of spaced-apart sides including a first pair of spaced-apart side separated by a second pair of spaced-apart sides, a plurality of spaced-apart strips extending between the first pair of spaced-apart sides, each adjacent pair of the plurality of spaced-apart strips defining a space therebetween through the panel, a first mesh bonded to the spaced-apart strips, and a second mesh bonded to the backup mesh. In one aspect a third mesh is bonded to the second mesh. In one aspect the strips are formed from a panel piece by cutting material therefrom with a laser.

A screen is disclosed which, in certain aspects, has screening material between opposed frame sides and one or more lower strips beneath the screen. In one aspect these strips are only inteconnected via their ends and not along their lengths. In certain aspects, a plurality of lower strips are bonded to the screen and extend across the screen from one frame side to the other. In one aspect one or more of the strips has one, two, or more humps or ridges corresponding to one or more corrugations in a corrugated perforated plate and/or corrugated screen assembly which is on the plate or, with no plate present, on the strips. In another aspect instead of the strips a solid corrugated perforated plate is used. In one aspect openings or perforations through the plate are triangular. In one aspect the screen is undulating screening material and lower portions of the screening material are bonded to a plate or to strips. Optionally screen mounting hooks or frame edges or screen edges may be used with such screens. A screening apparatus or shale shaker is disclosed which uses such plates and screens.
