Hinge strap

A lock and strike assembly is disclosed which is coupled to a latch assembly for a sliding door. The latch assembly includes a movable tongue or latch bar with two oppositely disposed catches. The lock assembly includes a housing, a solenoid housing having a solenoid coupled to a d.c. power source and controlling electronics. The solenoid is coupled to a trapezoidal shaped dog which is pivotally coupled to the solenoid housing for reciprocal movement between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The strike assembly is mounted to the lock assembly for locking engagement with the catch of the latch assembly.

There is disclosed a hinge () which includes a mounting flange assembly () pivotally coupled to a strap assembly (). The mounting flange assembly has a lower hinge flange () which includes a cam recess () having multiple pivot pin mounting holes (). A cam follower () mounted to the mounting flange assembly includes a cam portion (), seating plate () configured to nest within the flange recess, and a mounting post (). A pivot pin channel () extends through the seating plate. A pivot pin () is mounted to one of the three pivot pin mounting holes depending upon the desired offset of the strap assembly. The hinge includes three different cam followers each having a unique configuration and positioning of the cam portion, cam follower mounting post, and position of the pivot pin channel.

There is disclosed an anti-sag hinge () which includes a mounting flange assembly () pivotally coupled to a strap assembly (). The strap assembly includes a strap () extending from a cylinder portion (). The strap includes elongated mounting holes (), an adjustment screw boss () having a passageway (), and a moveable adjustment bracket () having an adjustment screw mounting flange () with a threaded screw hole () therein in which is threadably mounted an adjustment screw (). The adjustment screw has a head (), a bearing flange (), a neck (), and a threaded shaft (). A removable spacer () has a U-shaped gripping portion () which is snap fitted onto a portion of the threaded shaft between the bearing flange and the adjustment bracket screw flange. The adjustment bracket includes four mounting holes () extending therethrough and generally in alignment with strap elongated mounting holes.
