A first spacecraft and a second spacecraft are configured to be disposed together, in a launch configuration, for launch by a single launch vehicle. In the launch configuration, the first spacecraft is mechanically coupled with a primary payload adapter of the launch vehicle, and the second spacecraft is mechanically coupled with the first spacecraft by way of an inter-spacecraft coupling arrangement. The spacecraft are configured to be deployed, following injection into a first orbit by the launch vehicle, by separating the first spacecraft from the primary payload adapter while the second spacecraft is mechanically coupled with the first spacecraft. A first onboard propulsion subsystem of the first spacecraft includes one or more thrusters configured to execute an orbit transfer maneuver from the first orbit to a second orbit. A propellant line arrangement detachably couples the first onboard propulsion subsystem with a second propellant storage arrangement on the second spacecraft.

A system and method of processing a video Instant Message (IM) is provided. The method may comprise receiving a captured video stream from an image capture device and selecting at least one video effect from a plurality of video effects. A modified video stream is then generated (e.g., using a digital filter) that includes the video effect and is then communicated to a viewing location as the video Instant Message. The IM application can be a legacy IM application and generate a graphic user interface via the IM application to allow a user to select the video effect. The captured video stream may be received from a web camera and the modified video stream may be communicated via the Internet to the viewing location. The method may be performed in a device driver that interfaces the image capture device to an Instant Messaging application associated with the device driver.

Method and system to process video effects

There is provided a method and apparatus for adjusting at least one parameter of a video stream being received on a recipient screen, the video stream being captured by a sender's video capturing apparatus. The method includes providing a control device to a recipient to adjust the at least one parameter of the video stream captured by the sender's video capturing apparatus; interfacing the control device with a secondary application; the recipient using the control device for adjustment of the at least one parameter of the video stream captured by the sender's video capturing apparatus; and the recipient receiving and viewing the video stream on the recipient screen. There is also provided a control device for adjusting at least one parameter of a video stream being received on a recipient screen, the video stream being captured by a sender's video capturing apparatus.

Method and apparatus for a recipient to adjust a video stream

A control method and improved equatorial-normal body-stabilized spacecraft that operates in an inclined orbit. The control method controls pointing of payloads (communication antennas and instruments) and solar arrays disposed on the spacecraft. The method controls the spacecraft to provide Earth-pointing payloads and sun-pointing solar arrays so that the spacecraft body and solar arrays each rotate only around a single axis, a pitch axis of the spacecraft.
