An electronic game playable in an amusement device having a display with a touchscreen configured to receive a plurality of touch inputs simultaneously includes a playing area having a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns which form a grid having a plurality of gaming spaces and game objects disposed within each gaming space. The player is permitted to select and move a plurality of game objects each in different rows or columns simultaneously. A match is achieved when a predefined number of game objects having a same first identifier selected from a predetermined set of first identifiers are in adjacent gaming spaces within a row or column.

A method of awarding a bonus for a play session of a user of an amusement device is disclosed. The amusement device has a display, a memory and a controller. The method includes receiving, by the amusement device, an input of currency from the user. A game of chance sequence for determining the bonus is automatically initiated in response to receiving the input of currency. The game of chance sequence and the determined bonus are displayed and the bonus is applied to the play session.

An amusement device system includes a first amusement device, a second amusement device and a central server. The first controller is coupled to the first memory and the first display. The first memory stores an electronic game having a plurality of game content. The first controller is configured to show a first game content of the plurality of game content to an authenticated user. The second controller is coupled to the second memory. The second memory stores the electronic game having the plurality of game content. The central server is configured to store information sufficient to identify the first game content displayed to the authenticated user. The first and second controllers are prevented by the central server from again showing the first game content until a remainder of the plurality of game content has been displayed to the authenticated user.

System for tracking account activity on an amusement device

A game machine includes a tournament mode for conducting automated tournaments. In the tournament mode, a plurality of tournament games are playable by a plurality of players on the game machine. Each of the plurality of tournament games generates a total player score upon completion of game play. The player scores are used to determine the tournament winners. One or more sequences of tournament games are preprogrammed from the plurality of tournament games, and a tournament period is programmed for each tournament game. The preprogrammed tournament game for each sequence is playable during the programmed tournament period for the respective sequence. A plurality of sequences of tournament games may be preprogrammed to run simultaneously. The tournament sequences may either continuously repeat or may end after the last tournament in the sequence is completed.
