An application tool may be coupled to a coiled tubing for performing an operation in a wellbore includes a rigid outer body and at least one flow tube. The rigid outer body includes a first material. The flow tube defines a flow path through the outer rigid body for receiving a corrosive fluid from the coiled tubing after the coiled tubing is coupled to the application tool. The flow tube includes a second material that is corrosion resistant and different than the first material.

A technique facilitates assembly of well equipment at a wellsite. To help lift certain types of well tools, a mounting frame may be releasably coupled to a well string, e.g. a coiled tubing string. A cable guide and a cable attachment member may be releasably coupled to a well tool which is to be moved into engagement with the well string. A cable may be routed from the cable attachment member, through the cable guide, to a cable mounting feature of the mounting frame, and to a winch. The winch is operable to draw in the cable so as to move the well tool into alignment with and up into engagement with a connector of the well string.

System and method for handling tools at a wellsite

A technique facilitates control over packers and/or other well tools actuated downhole. The technique utilizes a valve connectable into a well string. The valve is shiftable between a plurality of modes so as to control flow of fluid in a downhole environment. Additionally, an actuator system is connectable into the well string and operatively coupled with the valve. The actuator system is electronically controlled to cause the valve to shift to a desired mode of the plurality of modes. This approach enables electronic control over the actuation of specific downhole tools, e.g. packers, and/or other well related operations.

System and method for electronically controlling downhole valve system

A technique facilitates control over a downhole well operation. The technique utilizes an electronic control system for controlling actuation of a downhole application-specific attachment. According to an embodiment, the system comprises a universal actuator module which may be selectively combined with a variety of application-specific attachments, e.g. well tools. The universal actuator module is electrically powered via, for example, electricity supplied to drive an electric motor which, in turn, may be used to drive a hydraulic pump or other type of mechanical device. Additionally, a given application-specific attachment can be readily interchanged with other application-specific attachments (e.g. well tools) for performing a desired downhole operation or operations.

Methodology and system having downhole universal actuator

A technique facilitates the anchoring and use of a downhole tool. The technique may be utilized with operations in which fluid is pumped or otherwise flowed through a tubular to the downhole tool. The operations are performed after the downhole tool has been fixed relative to the wellbore and while the tubular remains connected to the downhole tool. In some operations, the downhole tool is manipulated from the surface via the tubular to control placement of the fluid flowing down through the tubular.

Downhole tool anchoring system

A valve assembly connectable between first and second downhole components that each have first and second internal flowpaths. The valve assembly comprises a first valve operable to selectively fluidly couple the first internal flowpaths of the first and second downhole components, as well as a second valve operable to selectively fluidly couple the second internal flowpaths of the first and second downhole components.
