Apparatus, systems, and methods for pipeline condition assessment using phased array ultrasonic transducers are disclosed. A sensing module for assessing pipeline condition comprises a body; and one or more phased array ultrasonic transducers (PAUTs) assembled on the surface of the body, each PAUT configured to emit multi-channel ultrasonic waves for scanning a pipe wall.

Apparatus, systems and methods for pipeline condition assessment

A device for assessing the condition of a pipeline containing a liquid is provided. The device includes an actuatable maneuvering module to generate a force sufficient to move the device from one side to another side along a horizontal plane and to move the device from top to bottom along a vertical plane, or any combinations thereof, so as to maneuver the device.

Apparatus for inspecting the condition of the pipewall of a pipeline

Apparatus and device for testing within a metal pipe are described. The apparatus includes an exciter for generating an electromagnetic (EM) field for exciting a wall of the metal pipe; an extendable and retractable sensor assembly comprising a plurality of sensor bars arranged in an angled manner with respect to an axis of the pipe for sensing residue EM field on a wall of the pipe; a plurality of guide wheel assemblies for supporting and moving the apparatus along the axis of the pipe; and a control unit for recording sensed data from the sensor assembly.
