A spacer for a body of a refrigerant tank&#x2014;such as a modulator&#x2014;in an automotive HVAC device is provided. In embodiments, the spacer is flexible to enable it to be inserted into the modulator, and expanded out against the walls of the modulator when released therein. The spacer inhibits a desiccant bag from contacting the inner wall of the modulator, namely the location where a hole (e.g., for an inlet or outlet) is provided. The spacer can be a cage that surrounds a lower portion of the desiccant bag. And end of the desiccant bag can wrap around a flange of the cage, and be attached to the flange by mechanical fastening (e.g., through a slot), or by welding, or other means.

A stone guard for protecting a radiator core of a radiator. The stone guard includes a grate, a first mount, and a second mount. The first mount is at a first end of the grate for mounting the stone guard to the radiator. The second mount is at a second end of the grate for mounting the stone guard to the radiator. A distance between the first mount and the second mount is variable to fit the stone guard to the radiator.

A heat exchanger having a heat exchange surface comprising a plurality of tubes, a pair of tanks, an end plate, and a shroud disposed to cover the heat exchange surface, wherein, the shroud provides a first hook and a second hook at it's a vertical wall, and the end plate is held in place either between the first hook and the second hook, or between the second hook and the vertical wall. With the above structure, the fan shroud assembly can hold two types of heat exchangers having different thickness.

The present teachings provide for a wire harness mounting assembly including a first retention member, a first guide member, a second retention member, and a second guide member. The first retention member and the first guide member are each configured to be spaced apart from the second retention member and the second guide member to suspend a wire harness across a space defined therebetween.

An attachment system for two members includes a primary attachment device and a secondary attachment device for connecting the two members. When damage to the primary attachment device occurs, the secondary attachment device can be used to connect the two members without having to repair the primary attachment device.
