A tool holder includes a main body defining a mounting end and a receiving end, the mounting end positioned opposite from the receiving end, the main body defining a main body bore extending into the receiving end toward the mounting end; an extension defining a tool head attached to a rod, the tool head defining a tool head end opposite from the rod, a tool holder length defined between the mounting end and the tool head end, the tool head configured to receive at least one cutting tool, the rod received within the main body bore; and a locking mechanism engaging the extension and the main body in a locked position, the locking mechanism being disengaged from either the main body or the extension in an unlocked position, the locking mechanism being selectively positionable about and between the locked position and the unlocked position.

A sight glass assembly can comprise a housing defining an inner housing surface, an outer housing surface, a first housing end, and an opposed second housing end, the inner housing surface defining a housing bore; an adapter defining an inner adapter surface, an outer adapter surface, a first adapter end coupled to the housing, and an opposed second adapter end, the inner adapter surface defining an adapter bore, the outer adapter surface defining a central portion disposed between the first adapter end and the second adapter end, the central portion defining a shoulder contacting the second housing end of the housing; and a transparent viewport positioned in the housing bore such that the interior of a pipe fitting is viewable through the housing bore, the transparent viewport, and the adapter bore.

A meter bar includes a housing comprising an inflow end and an outflow end, a key assembly arranged within housing, the key assembly including a key, the key defining an interior and providing a fluid pathway from the inflow end to the outflow end; the key defining a pair of upper portals, one upper portal proximate the inflow end and one upper portal proximate the outflow end; the key defining a pair of lower portals, one lower portal proximate the inflow end and one lower portal proximate the outflow end; the key defining a pair of bypass portals; the key assembly arrangeable within the housing to selectably direct fluid flow from the inflow end to the outflow end either through a meter or bypassing the meter.

A method of manufacturing a plug for a pipe system includes cutting a plug from a length of pipe, the length of pipe defining a pipe bore, the pipe bore defining an inner diameter equal to an inner diameter of a main bore of the plug, the plug including a top portion defining a top diameter, a bottom portion defining a bottom diameter, and a web portion joining the top portion and the bottom portion.

A pipe fitting placement system includes a fitting holder including a bar defining a fitting bore proximate to a first end of the bar, the bar further defining a second end distal from the first end, the bar being elongated in a longitudinal direction extending from the first end to the second end; and a saddle coupled to the bar proximate to the second end of the bar, the saddle rotatable about a saddle pivot axis with respect to the bar; and a pipe fitting received within the fitting bore of the fitting holder.

A pilot drill includes a shaft defining a detent cavity extending from an outer surface of the shaft towards a longitudinal axis of the shaft, the shaft comprising a cutting edge positioned proximate to the outer surface, the shaft configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis during use; and a detent including: a bar positioned at least partly within the detent cavity, the bar including a base and an ear and defining an opening extending from the first side to the second side proximate to the leading end; a fastener extending through the fastener bore of the shaft and the opening of the bar and defining a pivot axis, the bar configured to rotate about the pivot axis from a disengaged position to an engaged position, the ear of the bar extending past the outer surface of the shaft when the bar is in the engaged position.

A plug for a pipeline includes a top portion defining a top bore, the top bore defining a top diameter; a bottom portion defining a bottom bore, the bottom bore defining a bottom diameter; and a web portion joining the top portion and the bottom portion; the top portion, the bottom portion, and the web portion defining a main bore, the main bore defining a longitudinal axis of the plug and defining a circular shape around the longitudinal axis of the plug; the top portion, the bottom portion, and the web portion further defining a substantially circular shape around a transverse axis of the plug that extends through the top portion and the bottom portion and is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
