Methods and systems are provided for an imaging system. In one example, the imaging system includes a plurality of microscope assemblies arranged radially around a central axis of the imaging system, coupled to vertically oriented plates with a set of objectives arranged at tops of the plurality of microscope assemblies and wherein the plates are oriented to extend away from the central axis in a radial direction to form an x-shaped configuration.

A system for surgical planning and assessment of spinal deformity correction is provided that has a spinal imaging system and a control unit. The spinal imaging system is configured to collect at least one digitized position of one or more vertebral bodies of a subject. The control unit is configured to receive the at least one digitized position, and calculate, based on the at least one digitized position, an optimized posture for the subject. The control unit is configured to receive one or more simulated spinal correction inputs, and based on the inputs and optimized posture, predict an optimal simulated postoperative surgical correction.

Systems and methods for spinal correction surgical planning

A spring retainer for a camshaft phaser is provided that includes an axially extending portion and a disk portion. The disk portion has an axially extending retention tab that is formed integrally therewith. The axially extending portion includes a torsional fixing region configured to torsionally attach a bias spring to the spring retainer. In a first installed position, the retention tab is spaced apart from a straight side of the bias spring. In a second rotationally slipped position, the retention tab is configured to be engaged with the straight side of the bias spring. The spring retainer can be utilized as a timing wheel that is configured to cooperate with a camshaft position sensor to provide an angular position of a camshaft.

A down-pressure system for an agricultural seeder includes single-action hydraulic cylinders connected between a rockshaft assembly and respective opener assemblies. The single-action hydraulic cylinders are connected to a pressure-regulated hydraulic circuit. The regulated pressure from the hydraulic circuit operates to bias the hydraulic cylinders in an extended direction to apply downforce to the opener assemblies when the rockshaft assembly is in its lowered condition with the opener assemblies engaging the soil. A double-acting hydraulic cylinder is provided for rotating the rockshaft assembly between a raised transport position and a lowered field working position. The double-acting hydraulic cylinder and the single-action hydraulic cylinders for applying down-pressure to the opener assemblies can be operated on the same hydraulic circuit, or on separate circuits. Multiple groups of the single-action hydraulic cylinders can be connected in parallel to respective headers to facilitate pressure equalization among the single-action hydraulic cylinders.

A down-pressure system for an agricultural implement has a linear actuator connected between a frame assembly and an opener assembly. A mounting structure for connecting the linear actuator to the opener assembly includes a bushing and an alignment member attached to the linear actuator. The bushing has protrusions extending transversely from opposite sides of a longitudinal axis of the linear actuator. Each protrusion has a curved engagement surface for engaging a flat surface on the opener assembly to prevent bending stresses on the linear actuator when the opener assembly is raised and lowered. The alignment member is arranged to lock the bushing into a predetermined rotational position about a longitudinal axis of the linear actuator relative to the opener assembly. The alignment member comprises a first structure that mates with a corresponding structure on the bushing, and a second structure that engages opposite sides of the opener assembly.

A camshaft phaser including: an axis of rotation; a drive sprocket arranged to receive torque; a stator non-rotatably connected to the drive sprocket; a rotor; and a positioning spring. The rotor is at least partially rotatable with respect to the stator and is arranged to non-rotatably connect to a camshaft. The rotor includes: first and second radially disposed sides facing, respectively, in first and second opposite axial directions parallel to the axis of rotation; a non-circular bore connecting the first and second radially disposed sides; and a support pin including a first portion disposed in the bore and configured to contact an inner radial surface of the bore at a plurality of lines parallel to the axis of rotation less than the entire circumference of the bore; and a second portion extending past the second radially disposed side in the second axial direction. The positioning spring is engaged with the second portion and urges the rotor in a circumferential direction.

A system and method for providing a discount for a credit-based transaction. The system includes a discount credit network wherein a participant holding a transaction card account issued by a card issuer is assigned a membership number that is associated with the participant's transaction card account. The preferred discount credit system also includes a discount authorization processor that is operatively connected to the discount credit network having a database containing the membership numbers and their associated transaction card accounts and processing means for correlating the membership numbers to such associated transaction card accounts. The preferred discount authorization processor is operatively connected to receive discount authorization requests from authorized merchants, correlate such requests to an associated transaction card account and transaction card issuer, and issue a transaction request to that particular transaction card issuer. The discount authorization processor receives an authorization response signal from the transaction card issuer and forwards such authorization response signal to the merchant who then applies the discount to the transaction whereby the participant receives a discount for initiating the transaction through the discount credit network.

An apparatus for testing asphalt or other paving samples includes a cabinet for housing the mechanical elements of the invention, and a computerized control console for monitoring and controlling the mechanism. The cabinet includes a pair of weighted rollers or wheels, which are driven reciprocatingly over a corresponding pair of pavement samples placed in trays beneath the wheels. The trays in turn rest in a water bath contained in an open water tank within the cabinet. The water may be heated to a predetermined temperature as desired, for providing the effects of high heat and moisture during testing. Each roller arm is in contact with a linear value displacement transducer, which measures the wear of each sample several times during each roller stroke. Lifting devices are also provided to lift the subject roller arm if one of the samples breaks down prematurely, in order to avoid premature abandonment of the testing of the second sample. All of the electromechanical components and their functions are controlled and/or monitored by a computer, which controls the speed of the wheel or roller drive motor, the temperature and circulation of the water bath, monitors the wear of each pavement sample according to the corresponding displacement transducer, and controls the lifting of either roller arm in the event of the breakdown of one of the samples. The computer and monitor are installed with a cabinet which houses various electrical components which in turn monitor and control the various elements of the sample test cabinet.

Apparatus and method for testing paving

A test kit and method of use. The kit comprises at least one indicia bearing test sheet, at least one associated, indicia-bearing, instruction sheet, one indicia-bearing marker for the test sheet, and a binder for the sheets. The test sheet bears indicia forming one target icon and a plurality of answer icons. One of the answer icons is identical to the target icon, and the others of the answer icons are similar to the target icon yet somewhat different in appearance. The answer icons are located at predetermined locations on the test sheet. The marker comprises a transparent member bearing indicia corresponding exactly to the target icon. The instruction sheet bears plural respective instructional text at locations corresponding to the locations of the answer icons on the test sheet. Each of the text provides information describing the differences and/or similarities between the target icon and that answer icon which is located in the same respective position on the test sheet. The marker is arranged to be placed on the target icon and the correct answer icon by the test giver so that they can be seen therethrough to show their identity. The marker, when placed on any incorrect answer icon, enables the person taking the test to readily see the differences therebetween. The test giver orally comments on the answer icon selected by the person taking the test in accordance with that instructional text on the instruction sheet which is associated with the selected answer icon.

An electronic testing device comprising a housing, test overlays, at least one data entry overlay, operating mode selector means and a microprocessor and associated circuitry. The testing device is arranged for either a testing mode of operation or a data entry mode of operation, with either mode being effected in response to the operating mode selector. The test overlays are each arranged to be releasably secured to said housing and bear indicia forming a plurality of questions and a plurality of possible answers corresponding to the questions. The overlays additionally comprise coding which cooperates with input on the housing to specify a set of correct answers to the questions when the device is in the testing mode. The housing additionally comprises plural electrical contacts arranged when actuated by an electrical probe to select a desired answer for each of the questions and for providing an electrical signal indicative thereof. The microprocessor and associated circuitry are responsive to the signals for determining the degree of correspondence between the answers selected and correct answers to the questions to produce scoring information. The data entry overlay defines a plurality of alphanumeric characters on the housing and associated with respective ones of the plural contacts, whereupon the actuation of each of said contacts provides an electrical signal indicative of a respective one of the plural alphanumeric characters. The signals representing the alphanumeric characters are provided to the microprocessor and associated circuitry so that the device can provide output signals representing selected data which was input during the data entry mode as well as the scoring data produced. These signals are used by an associated printer to print a report based on the test results. An optional computer or some other peripheral device can also be connected to the device's output.
